Sway slowly in place, why was the lady on the floor, what was down there that could be so interesting... Dropping into a crouch he would rest his hands upon the floor, his knees almost brushing his shoulders with how he folded in half. The rain was rather refreshing, the thunder and lightning didn't brought no response from the male, it simply ran off of his outfit, causing some parts to cling to him while others hung just as they had been this entire time.
She didn't understand? The dove was confused by something, for a moment this confuse him greatly, he had only ask for a story, what was so difficult to understand of such a request. Silver eyes set themselves upon the tiny figure before him, why did she seem to small in comparison, was there a reason she was so tiny or was he just unusually large... Focus! He scolded himself, hissing and grunting softly as he tried to remember what had been said, or what was being discussed. The rain over time would become a distraction, occasionally his attention would slip off toward the sound of a drip, or he would twitch as a larger droplet his him, growling to himself his attention snap back to the female.
"This ones fear is beautiful, pink and blue, delicate, lovely, those are words the normal's use, the ones that understand them... We don't understand, Death! That is what is understood, the beast knows death!"
Perhaps he really was crazy, though something appeared to change with him, as the rain thundered down he appeared to come to his senses some, not that this was a good thing... Roaring suddenly he would lunge forward, his hands taking hold of the females shoulders as he force her to the ground beneath him, for some reason he would bare his teeth as he snarl down at the little lady, his weight bearing down on her shoulders as he pin her in place.
"What do you know! What have you been told!" As fast as the outburst had come it subside, whining as he rock backward to sit, knees bent and hands at his side, those piercing eyes set on the lady. "The man is sorry, he apologises for his behaviour and wishes to introduce himself. Rauko Deloth, Kyra of Death." His tone was suddenly gentle and surprisingly level, formal even, his gaze soft as he watch the lady.

Kiba couldn't help but watch him somewhat in a trance as she saw him fighting with himself trying to remain in the moment while so many things fought to break his focus. She withdrew into herself as he described her fear as beautiful.. He understood only death and that alone should make her run and she wanted to. But her body remained frozen as if by command of another she was unable to do what her mind wished.
His power was raw, she saw him lunge but she wasn't fast enough to move away and dodge him. Force took her shoulders and she crashed into the ground water splashing against her back her eyes frozen in shock as she stared back at him. His outburst had been quick and her lips parted in a similar fashion that she was growing to detest. But before she could speak he withdrew and apologized for his outbreak looking back at her with those haunting silver eyes.
The control she felt she had lost returned and her body felt like her own, she turned to her side and pushed herself up her clothes completely soaked and her hair somewhat disheveled she looked at him not in fear but in utter amazement. How many had been hunting him and those of his kind and yet here was a Kyra something so rare people would die wishing they could just get a glimpse of one. The way he spoke was as if there were two speaking in one body, her body was frightened and yet some composure returned to her. Timidly she shifted into an awkward sitting position her legs crossed on the wet ground and she looked at him with sudden interest and amazement.
"Y-you speak as if.. mm.. are there two of you?" Her voice was quiet, she contemplated her words not wanting to set of the rage of a creature that had literally announced himself as someone which could control death itself. She held her wrist in what had now become a comforting mechanism rubbing it with her thumb as she thought of what to say and do to survive this interaction..
"I don't really remember much of my past. I've always been called Kibari though.." Her hands instinctively reached out as if to shake a hand of a friend but remained frozen as she paused and thought about the situation, this creature so rare and hunted.. Was she just going to become a victim to his power? Would she die soon having met him?
"A-are you..." She paused and shook her head too frightened to ask a question which would end her adventure. There was so much she wished to know about herself and know about him but if her life was to be taken she wanted to not know. "I.. can't tell you what I am, a Zerix maybe.. With so many races without knowing my heritage I can't tell you much" Her voice seemed somewhat sorrowful and the reason was simple.
Here in an alley with an insane Kyra which controlled death, if he chose to kill her she wouldn't be missed and no one would remember her... She clenched her hands and her eyes lost focus of Rauko and looked down at the hands that were slowly becoming red from the cold.

As the hand extend forward he would tense up, leaning back ever so slightly as he inspect the lady, his head tilt this way and that as he eyed the hand. After a moment of inspecting her from a distance he would leap forward in a rather puppy-like manner, pouncing onto all fours as he stretch forward to inspect the hand offered to him, what was this strange gesture? Perhaps sober he didn't fight for control so much, chances were though that he never understood this gesture, and as such in this rather playful state his response was to lick her fingers, leaning in to bump his nose against her palm before skittering back ward. Once there was a small distance between them he would once more turn to face her, remaining on all fours he tilt his head, bending through his elbows before straightening them once more.
"Oh no! He doesn't want to kill the miss, nono, he never hides his intentions!" The voice was light and gentle, excited almost. Control had been lost altogether, these parts of him that he usually kept under wraps were running wild and he had no power over them, perhaps the female would assume this to be normal, there was a good chance that while he sat back and watched this, clutching in the dark for some level of control, she had already assumed this was normal for the beast.
"There is only one, he has no control and that he hates, he knows his intent but he fails to hold control. He wishes to understand the miss, she reminds..... Enough!" As the words spoken began to reveal too much the tone would once more change, while loud and sharp it appeared to be the same and much more level tone that had introduce himself just moments before.
The male fell silent, he drop from that crouch to sit once more, he sway slightly as he try to rebuild the walls, a feeble attempt to control something as chaotic as death. Perhaps all of those lives he had taken had come to haunt him, shaking his head he would hiss sharply. The rain was a blessing, leaning back he let it wash over his face, something as ageless as he would've been used to the rain, or so one might think. No, for him the rain was a freedom, it was sobering even when her fear drove him mad, her fear put him in his element, fear, sadness, anger, hatred and death, these things went hand in hand. While he had consume a lot of alcohol it was her that cause this instability, all without knowing it.
He was drunk on the thrill of her fear, his demons thought they were on the hunt and he lost control all together, it was a good thing that control wasn't lost entirely. Able to think straighter he would look up to the lady, he would try to smile but such things were lost to him, he had no true understanding of emotion or true expression. "There is only one, he is not here to hunt little ladies in alleyways, for now his hunt is already over."
With that he twist uncomfortably, turning his back on her he would leave the alleyway at full sprint, he knew he would find her again, that was if she didn't come looking for him. His destination would be a shattered old shack on the edges of this settlement, easy to assume it was unoccupied but unusually large.

The way he acted seemed somewhat childlike or a way a lost puppy would react to someone that had showed kindness. Heat rose to her cheeks briefly painting them a pale red as she felt him lick her fingers before retreating back into his previous position. He spoke and yet she suddenly felt a great distance between them, the the strange creature spoke made her see him as a creature battling against someone else. Always watching how he moved and how he spoke she analysed him and slowly her fear ebbed away. If anything the person talking to her now didn't cause her fear but whoever he spoke of as 'he' that was someone who was unsure of. His voice was strange to say the least somewhat rhythmic with dips and turns he seemed so strange and yet so very unique.
She found herself contemplating here on the ground with the rain impaling her, was this how the kyra were? Battling with themselves over control because their powers were just this great? She watched him as he left the alley leaving her alone in a sudden darkness she hadn't even noticed. The minimal light prior to their meeting had diminished and here in the alley the darkness just caressed her body. Shifting back onto her feet she pulled her hand out and let light threads dance in her hands as she walked through the alley, making the light disappear as soon as she spotted another person.
Her adventure had taken a strange turn, originally she would have only stopped here in this settlement for food but now her body soaked and cold she bought some clothes from a stall and returned to the inn for a warm bath and a change of clothes because she continued her trip. The inn itself seemed disheveled as if a storm had passed moments after she left, she could smell fragments of blood in the air but ignored it as males fighting among themselves. As the keys to a room fell in her hands she quickly ran her bath and discarded the clothes that had felt like second skin to the ground before submersing herself in the bath completely.
Her mind felt numb and in a daze, she had met a Kyra and had let him leave, she could gain strength just by having him beside her and she had left him. Wouldn't having a kyra make finding out her past easier? She shook her head under the water pulling herself out and hugged her knees to her chest. Why couldn't things be easy.

The male would've allow himself to slip into another phase, likely falling into his Kirin phase for the night, this being his natural state, perhaps he had just spent too much time appearing to be a human, for all he knew that had wore him thin over time. Very little made sense so this train of thought was soon discarded, his mind reaching back to that soft pink hair, perhaps a coldness would touch the female even with the distance between them his powers could reach her, a gentle brush of cold that would linger. While in itself there was fear and pain that clouded this extreme cold, there would be something soft about it, something gentle in that agony.
As had become routine for him he woke before the sun, on this day he walk through the dead form remaining in that kirin phase, a cold, dark mist hung around him, causing him to appear as a ghost like figure. Few saw him but by the time he made his way back to the inn, now appearing human, the stories were already being told. Those few that had seen him appeared mad, they were fearful and insane, rambling on about this giant beast they had seen, in that phase and at that time he hadn't kept his powers under control, allowing all the pain and fear of such power to corrupt. It rather fascinate him seeing what such brief exposure to that power done to a normal.
Entering the inn he had occupy the day before he would call for his regular drink, there was a crowd of people gathered around one of the madmen, a grin crept across his lips as he listened to the man recount his tale. With the drink in hand he would just sit there silently, his side of the room completely empty, once more though his attention would slip to those mismatched eyes, that same gentle cold would reach out to her once more, had she already move on?

It was easy to lose herself in the comforts of a warm bedroom safe from the pouring rain outside. As she dried herself and dressed in the dry clothes she had brought she hung her other clothes near the fire and then dropped on the small bed losing the fight with herself to stay awake or just to leave in the night instead of staying another day in this place. She had no idea why she decided to remain but she fell into a deep sleep only really awakening when she heard bustling beneath her as something made the people excited. Her eyes fluttered open hesitantly not wanting to face anything happening that would shake any resolve she had.
She walked over to the dead fire and checked her clothes they were a little damp but they would be fine. She brushed her long hair with her fingers and discarded the large white tunic she had bought throwing it onto the dead fire as she dressed in her normal attire. Tight brown leggings hugged her legs and her top was a similar brown color with fur lining the neckline still damp from last night the fur laid against the brown fabric. She sighed as she felt a chill against her body as she put on her clothing, she tied her brown boots knee high boots and grabbed the key before closing the door behind her. Her cape was draped on her arm before she stopped abruptly. What had she been thinking of? She sighed and flung the cape around her shoulders buttoning a few buttons from the top before heading down the stairs towards the public area. Was her mind really that distracted that she would have attracted attention to herself after trying so hard to not stand out..
Her ears twitched as she listened to conversations of the few groups still in the inn, her eyes paid no attention to those around her she just looked at the keys in her hand as she walked to the inn keeper and returned the keys. She turned to leave when she noticed someone sitting in a corner on his own, a drink in his hand. Her hand hung to her side and her ears grew alert as she realized who was here.
She averted her gaze to those around her and noticed them sneaking glimpses of the male sitting on his own as she had. Did everyone know who he was? Would she be in danger if they knew they had spoken? She stayed there contemplating her choices but unable to make a decision she turned to the inn keeper and ordered a hot drink sitting at the bar by herself. What in the hell was she doing, she needed to leave before things became ugly again

There was a calmness about him, something unfamiliar to those that had seen him just the night before, stories of this near skeletal beast and the aura that surround it, something of a large size, ribs, flesh and bone on display, its hooves left prints of blood where it tread, its eyes hollow, a haunting silver with no visible pupil. The feeling of this beast's presence was enough to drive any man over the edge, perhaps some of that would even be felt to those within the inn even now, his power seeping from him as he let himself relax slightly, that or he was doing this intentionally, simply not keeping a lid on his abilities.
The closer one came to him the colder it would get, there was a fear lingering within the mist that hung around the beast, something had ignite the fire within him and she sat just across the room. He had a desire to allow this power freedom, there was a want to experience that rush again, all of these small and mundane tasks he had been doing were fast growing tiresome.
Despite the freedom of his power there would be one restraint, any brush of his to that delicate dove would not be entirely unpleasant, as if something protect her, as if the beast himself didn't want her exposed to the fear and pain that was slowly beginning to encase the room. While others were shivering she would catch but a glimpse of a cool breeze, when the rambling male began to bleed from his eyes, nose, mouth and ears, when others began to grunt and double over, she would feel their fear but none of the pain.
As the mist reach out some would catch on, they would try to run from it, attempt to avoid it as if it were an acid, and for those that is what it became. Upon contact the mist would appear to burn their skin, essentially causing their flesh to melt from bone as their cries filled the inn. Rauko? He sat in his corner, drink in hand and a rather sinister grin on his lips, there was even a soft chuckle that rose from the beast as his first victim fell, that insane man who had almost become impossible to recognise.

As she downed the rest of her drink she fought with the desire to walk over to the kyra she had met in a dark alley when they rain impaled them both causing her to remain in this city so that they could meet once again. The thought was thrown away, it seemed like something out of a romance novel but this wasn't a romance and this kyra wasn't exactly sane. She couldn't help but let a small giggle escape her lips at the thought of the Kyra that she had met acting charming, that wasn't a possibility he was truly insane and something about him made her feel compassion for him but at the same time pure terror. This creature was meant to give hope to the races of Azelania and here he was sitting alone in an inn, last night she could see a loneliness and desire to find something of his own. Where kyra born a certain way or did their lives unfold like everyone elses? Who had harmed this kyra to make him so wounded..
Her fingers drew circles on the bar her light tracing her fingertips as she drew a circle before the light faded when the circle was complete. It had been something she did from young, a comfort of her own to make her feel connected to something. At least her light never abandoned her... Had someone abandoned him too? Was his only support his powers? The kyra of death, had death broken him?
Her thoughts of reaching towards him were quickly erased when she felt something surround her, it wasn't unpleasant if anything she took some comfort in the way it held her as if it was something protecting her. In the first few moments she thought of turning and punching whoever held her until she made the realization that it wasn't someone but something. It felt like something dark that should be feared and yet she felt some familiarity that gave her comfort. She couldn't help but relax slightly with the notion that something or someone was looking after her. But comfort wasn't a part of her life, her ears perked as she head faint noises. People in different stages of pain or maybe death? Mist had somehow entered the inn and people were bleeding from different parts of their bodies, one individual crawled towards Rauko his claws pushing him forward as he dug into the floor pleading for him to save him.
At some point Kiba had left her seat and now her back pressed against he bar as her eyes were frozen in shock her hand pulling her cape over her mouth and yet... She didn't feel in danger, she dropped her cape back to her shoulders and that comforting support she had felt on her skin remained, she turned to look at the dark Kyra who sat alone in the corner of the inn.
That urge to reach out to him remained, what had made him this creature in front of her. That sinister grin on his face, that slightly hallow look what had made him this monster. She remained frozen against the bar, not knowing if she could even help the people around her or if she tried would she took feel the pain.. Her hand clenched in her side, fighting the urge to run out, fighting the urge to speak to him and most importantly pushing her wolf down not wanting to shift now when there was so much danger surrounding her.
Her light escaped in small trails of sparks from her finger tips dancing around her arm as she tried to keep herself from exposing more of herself and only furthering whatever trap this insane, destroyed, lonely kyra had planned.

It was slow, their deaths were all slow and incredibly painful, not only did he ensure that but he was also very careful to ensure they were living out their worst possible nightmares as they perish. As that maggot shift closer to him he would chuckle, in that moment there was something far more terrifying about him, the room would darken, it would grow colder, their cries would echo and with a snap of his fingers that pathetic maggot would explode, decorating the room with all manner of blood and chunks. One thing to note was that little dove felt none of this, while he couldn't warm her his cold would avoid her, if she move too quick she might realise that, somehow deaths embrace protect and cradle her, even from this shower of gore she would remain clean, just as he would.
One by one these pathetic creatures would drop until none were left, the scent of blood heavy on the air, their pain, fear and untimely deaths all fuelling this beast. There was one more trick this beast had up his sleeve, blood manipulation meant all of the mess would begin to shift. Slowly two paths would clear, they would start where that little dove stood, one would extend off toward the door, the other would stretch toward him, here he gave her two options to move without getting the mess on her shoes. Even what dripped from the ceiling would somehow avoid both himself and her, there was something of a glow to him as that mist slowly drew back until it was little more than a thin cloud at his feet.
Tilting his head ever so slightly he would raise his glass, bringing it up to his lips he would pause, sighing he would use a length of fabric from his outfit to wipe a little droplet of blood from the glass before taking a small mouthful of the sharp liquid. As he lower the glass his gaze would reach out over the room, admiring the mess of bodies and the new colour to the room, grim as it might be this sight please him, it had been quite a while since he last stretch his powers like this.

One by one they fell and each in a more grotesque way than the previous, there was no way this could be possible. Were kyra this powerful that they could kill so many while never raising a hand? Her wolf growled in defiance, this place and this gruesome scene was enough for the wolf to battle against every barrier she ever set to keep it tame. Her eyes shut tightly not wanting to see anymore of this torture. The man she had met in the alley way had not been this, this creature was a murderer. The previous had been something innocent and naive, something that just wanted a friend and to talk..
What did this want...
She watched as two paths formed, she was able to walk towards him and find exactly what it was he wanted or she could leave and this scene she could imagine out of existence. She took a few steps towards the door and paused, her hand held her other arm awkwardly looking towards him trying to figure out what exactly he wanted. Why did he act so different with her and why wasn't he cruel. She shook her head fighting her thoughts and headed for the exit, she was pretty adamant that she would leave this behind and once she was out of his sight she would run endlessly until she could no longer capture his scent that now seemed so ingrained in her body.
Stopping at the door frame she looked back at him and remained frozen for a few moments, her hands clenched by her side one reaching the door knob before pulling away as her fingertips touched the handle. Her powers in response to whatever he had done in the inn were causing them to escape her body, sparks occasionally escaping from her fingertips.
In whatever strength she could muster after seeing the mutilation in front of her she faced him and spoke. "You should leave this place. Before people find out what you are and want to capture you"

Allow a soft chuckle to rise in his throat as her power slip from her fingertips, this display had serve its purpose and as his eyes settle on that light he would push himself up from his seat, with a wave of his hand the blood would clear from the room, the male would twitch slightly but he held himself together. In itself this was a battle, had he drunk more it would've been far worse for him, the blood far more interesting than this little lady but, he wanted something.
Slowly he approach the female, hands out to either side where she could see them he would smile, or at least he attempt to smile in a way he had seen the humans. "I do not fear them, they are welcome to share the same fate as these maggots, or they can find one of their own, perhaps I could build a nightmare for each of the beasts... What of your power little flower? You could've saved these beings?" He was guessing but it seemed as good a guess as any, though he wanted to see what she could do, did she command some form of life powers, how interesting could that be, life and death working hand in hand.
As he close the distance between himself and the female he would stop just a few feet from her, he appeared rather well put together, even sane? "Are you afraid lovely one? That's good, you should embrace that fear, allow it to drive you... Do you hate me for what I done here? I've done much worse, why don't you take that anger out on me? You have your chance, you have options, what will you do little flower?" his tone soft, so very close to appearing rather caring, if only the beast could understand such things..

She turned to face him completely her body stiff and tight as she watched his approach. He was so confident of the power he held it must have felt great, confidence that no one could ever harm you. That you could defend yourself. If only her powers were something that could protect her but all they could do was heal and shield. She couldn't fight with them they were meant for protection not for death. She was not an offensive person if anything she chose to avoid contact with others, she avoided this.. If he hadn't been a Kyra and had been simple another species would she have remained? Had his death, his strength, his insanity had it infatuated her?
He acted as if he wasn't a foe, as if he hadn't just killed a room of people before her in a show of power. She looked at those pale hands that had seemed so different last night, that face seemed so different. Now his features seemed so distinct and sharp... His silver eyes burned stronger making her feel even her soul wasn't safe around him.
"It must be nice to not fear anything and anyone" She stopped and remembered the rantings of Rauko last night, those moments when he spoke of someone and quickly changed subjects.. "My powers are merely for show and to heal, would you want me to heal every man?" She teased, she had no idea why she thought she could tease a male that had just eradicated and snuffed the life out of a group of people without even tiring. "Though I think even my powers couldn't save them from you..."
He came closer and although by instinct her body wanted to move back she stood her ground unlike last time and stared back at him. He asked so many questions and most of them almost seemed like he wanted her acceptance, a fools thought. He cared little for her or anyone else he was a Kyra with no fear he was merely playing a game.
"Would it not be stupid to not fear you?" Her powers slowly came under control, the sparks of light now that he had approached so close had diminished and the light could only be seen momentarily as her eyes glowed softly for a few seconds. "I don't know anyone here so I have no reason to hate you. I would rather not be on the receiving end of this treatment." He spoke of being harmed, of her attacking him and her wolf howled in excitement as if it wanted to try taking down the kyra before her. Pushing it back where it was tame she looked back at him her eyes glowing slightly once again.
"Do you want me to hate you? you want me to hurt you?" She asked honestly, because fairly she could never understand this creature standing before her. She tilted her head slightly to the side as she waited for an answer.

He knew her, he was sure of it just as the beasts he fought down were, they fought for power over him, not today, he was in control... Mostly... He wanted to hold control at least, this little creature was one he knew, he was certain of it but needed something from her, he needed her to prove she was who he was so sure of, why didn't she hate him, why was she not lashing out at him for what he had just done... Any normal being would act out in fear or rage, she act concerned for him.
"I know you little one, while some believe I know all, you stand out. I remember you i'm sure, a delicate little dove that fights back a monster, on the outside you're frail and scared, on the inside you're something else entirely..."
He move closer, bringing his hands up he would set them on the door either side of her head, leaning in slowly she would notice a growl rising in his throat. Slowly his head would tilt down, his cold lips coming to brush against the side of her neck as he lean into the smaller female. Even he wasn't entirely sure what he was doing, though pressing his icy lips just beneath her jawline he could feel the little doves pulse, each beat of her frightened little heart as she worry herself over what he might do to her.
Painfully slowly he would lower his left hand, bringing it down to trail over her shoulder, down her arm as he reach to curl his fingers around her delicate hip. Being this close she would notice just how cold he was, even through her clothes she would feel it as he pull her into him, pressing his body against hers as his lips remain pressed to her neck. By doing this he was pressing for a reaction, he knew what reaction he want of her, he was certain she would break and give him that, he could wait...

Her eyes narrowed as he spoke of knowing her, she had no memories of him or anyone else for that matter. How could he know her when her life was mostly in an orphanage abandoned by her mother. Had he visited the orphanage? She couldn't see this insane and rather cruel creature visiting out of pure interest and kindness. He was truly insane and he was probably mistaking her for someone else. No mater how much she forced herself to remember his face there was none in her memories, there were no events or moments she could remember him... Then again.. She couldn't remember anyone apart from one lady who looked after her at the orphanage and the building.. Yet when she returned the building was no longer there, her mind had played games with her for as long as she could remember..
Yet how did he know about the war inside her. How did he know of her wolf... She snarled slightly only stopping when he moved closer and pinning her close to him by putting his hands on the door. The snarl returned and her eyes began to glow more vibrantly her light pouring out of her hands twirling around her arm as her fists clenched to her side. She felt his body against hers, the cold coming from that body was inhuman almost as if she could feel death hugging his frame her heart racing from the fear of death so close to her. The wolf slammed against the barriers needing to protect her from the eminent danger she was suddenly in. As soon as his lips touched her neck and his hand traveled to her him the light that had been pouring out of her was absorbed back into her body and the light pushed against Rauko forcing him to move at least a step away. The light arced around Kiba acting as a shield and splitting the two of them apart.
With a racing heart her eyes fluctuated the colours diminishing leaving them white until that arc of light returned to her body forcing her body to change and mold releasing the wolf she tried to keep hidden from everyone and herself. With one paw in front of the other the light slowly vanished a thick white pelt covered the canine body, its eyes mix matched just as the human form. Snarling towards the kyra the wolf towered over him, closer to the size of a horse instead of a wolf its pelt covered thick muscles and its snarl showed the sharp canines that could rip apart flesh.
Kiba could see it, she watched Rauko through the eyes of her wolf as it approached it raised its paw and pushed forward closer to the floor beneath the wolf cracked under its weight and power. Would this be it? would he kill her or would she wound him, she wanted none of this she just wanted to flee but the wolf remained growling incessantly but not advancing for attack.
