i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ It was strange, she should have been used to this. The travelling back and forth between Ragna and hunting and yet this time it was different. She felt the need to protect her as if she were some kind of cub needing their mother. It made her wonder, how long had she been with those people hunting her? Did she even have a mother? When had the world changed so much since her past life. She remembered tranquillity, though the animals fought with the humans over space it was never like this. So thirsty for blood and war.. Ragna too, he had been a kind soul that had fallen in love then when that love disappeared he was broken into a thousand pieces. How did people survive loss now? She followed orders in hopes he would let her rest finally and return to the afterlife where her family would be waiting. Asking him to bring them back though he would/could she wanted them far from what the world had become.. So ugly.. Lost in thought she paid no attention to footsteps, nor the scent of Leyann getting closer. She was so lost in her old memories basking in the moonlight with her siblings she paid no attention to reality.. Not until she spoke. Nemesis turned her head slowly staring at the young girl who seemed so drained she could barely stand. The sun and the moon, light and darkness. This girl had a life stolen from her and yet Nemesis had been given her life back or well some kind of fragment of what it could have been. Her voice so soft and so faint. "You need to rest" Before she could move towards her or even explain herself she found Leyann falling to the ground, her hair like sunlight against the moon. Nemesis sighed as she hoped off the rock and walked over to the young girl, lifting her was pretty easy she hardly weighed much the people probably keeping her weak so they could control her better. She carried Leyann to the cavern once more letting her lay down slowly on the ground. She pulled her shawl off her shoulders and threw it on top of her before shifting back into her wolf form though slightly larger than before. Nemesis pressed her fur against Leyann making sure she wouldn't be cold through the night by letting her tails lay on top of her legs as she finally closed her eyes to rest. 'Let's hope she thinks it was a dream.'Melidas ● cute little black fox● 398 [attr="class","mizocredits"] [newclass=.mizocredits]width:90px;padding:1px;border:1px solid #969696;margin:5px;[/newclass][newclass=.mizocredits a]color: #d3f4ff;font: bold 6pt calibri; letter-spacing: 1px; text-transform: uppercase;[/newclass]

Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ She's never felt this way before. Even after the raid, even after every single time a man entered her quarters. She's never felt this exhausted before. Collapsing right where she was standing, not knowing if what she was seeing was real or fake. This was ll new for Leyann. Was it the fact that they have been running since they fought? It didn't seem like it, as Leyann has ran and fought before, especially after the raid. The new feeling she had was the sense of wanderlust, or even just the feeling of being free. Ever since she was a child, she always felt trapped. Never allowed to do things she wanted to do. But because she kept quiet and listened, nothing ever changed. Until she took matters in her own hands. Finding a way to escape, to be free, as she always wanted to be. More so, she even found a friend almost immediately after. The one thing clouding her mind though, was who the fox really was. What she saw tonight doesn't help, as she saw a woman, and no foxes around. But she still isn't sure if the fox and that woman staring into the moonlight was the same person. She woke up, being nestled by the little black fox, and tucked in by a shawl that has not been there previously and intertwined by its tails. She was groggy and disoriented, but it looked like she was relatively back to her senses. She looked at the shawl, not recognizing it from the night before. Perhaps the fox went into the city and took this away as well last night. All Leyann could think of is what happened last night. " What was that? Who was that? Was it real?" Leyann just wanted answers, as she contemplates them while pacing around outside of the cave they used as shelter. She looked back into the cave and looked at the fox, peacefully resting, looking so calm and relaxed. Leyann sat net to it, dragging her palm over the course of its tails, then towards its head. The fox twitched her ears, and moved around until it felt comfy. Of course, this can peace won't stay long, as they are still being hunted by the heretics. But they'll take advantage of the little peace they do have. Leyann got up and began to pack her things in a corner to be ready to leave at a moments notice, before heading into the forest to forage some more berries, or even find something to hunt for breakfast. 448 words - Ley likes the foxy c: - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ Nemesis laid there beside her all through the night ensuring the young girl would remain warm but also she wondered what exactly made her so special that made so many hunt for her. What was special about her that caught the interests of her master? There was so many questions in her mind but instead of ignoring them completely she laid her head on the ground beside her and just watched until her mind fell into a deep sleep. At some point while she slept the young girl had chosen to get up and go for a walk. Nemesis opened her eyes watching her as she walked away wondering exactly how much had she remembered from last night before passing out. Could she remember her? Did she remember her shifting back into her fox form or had she passed out before her eyes could recognise what she had seen. She walked around pacing her mind completely lost in thought. Nemesis watched her as she remained laying on her side, watching as she packed her things then headed into the forest for what she assumed was to find something to eat. Nemesis stood from where she lay stretching her paws in front of her as her tail swished side to side before bouncing off into the forest in search of the girl wondering if she would lead them into new problems and dangers. Where did she come from, why were so many after her. Nothing settled her insecurities because soon she would need to bring her to her master and she knew she couldn’t lie after all he knew when she would. The bond of a master and a familiar was one with little privacy of the mind. She noticed the girl picking up berries, she sat from a distance watching her. Her head tilted to the side as if it was the most natural thing for her to observe the young human. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ All Leyann can think about is what happened last night, and who the person who helped her was. She got up to gather berries in attempt to distract herself, but her mind is clouded, as nothing recently has made sense to her. She heard a noise in the distance. She immediately thought that is was the heretics, so she leaped backwards, crouching, and ready to pounce on anyone she sees. Then she thought about the sound more. "The would be loud and chanting, screaming even", she thought to herself. She was jumpy initially, but eventually she came to the fact that it might be an opportunity to get some meats. Leyann stayed crouched and low, and she visually inspects the brush from a distance, being sure that she doesn't spook the animal. She's on the prowl, moving slowly and alertly. She sees antlers poking out from the other side of the forest. Deer. It would be enough meat for a couple of days. She slowly made it to the edge of the brush, out of eyesight from the deer. She moved forward, creeping towards it. It doesn't notice her, it's just going about it's day, grazing on the grass on the forest floor. "Hey! Where the hell do you think you're going??"
Leyann got startled, hearing a loud yell from a man in the distance. She spun quickly, trying to pinpoint where the voice was coming from. She's in a panic, she can't see anyone around her. She runs to the other side of the clearing, where the berries that she was picking earlier were, trying to see if they're cave and the fox was ok. There was no man, the voice was in her head. The deer scurries away from the noise of her running. 448 words - Ley likes the foxy c: - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ Nemesis awoke at the same time Leyann seemed to rush over towards her, her ears perked up she pushed herself up so she was sitting. She scanned the young girls face, frightened and completely filled with shock. Nemesis mewed coming closer to her slowly putting her paws against her leg as if asking for comfort or for some kind of attention. She mewed again her tails wagging as she looked up at her, her mind was filled with horrors. She had nightmares but even when she was awake she still had those memories of all the things the fanatics did to her. She couldn’t help but feel sympathy for the young girl, she turned around running off to a large boulder sitting on top of it proudly. She mewed arching her head up to the sky, her body began to glow until it changed shape to that of a woman. Her clothing dark like the midnight blue hair that fell down her back, the deep blue of her eyes staring back at Leyann. She leaned against the boulder but she let her hand extend to the young girl. “I’m sorry to have lied to you. It was easier to help you escape as a fox than as a woman. Together we would attract too much attention.” She tried to make her voice as welcoming as possible, as comforting as she could imitate after all she had been a fox changed to a human speaking human language and showing human emotion was strange to her. “I didn’t mean to deceive you, but I’m here to help you if you let me” She extended both her arms as if allowing the girl to come to her embrace if she so wished. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ Leyann watched as the little black fox she had been following looked and her and softly mewed. She didn't know what to think about it. Should she trust it? Is it a trap? Those are the thoughts running through her head, but eventually she realized they're moot, as they've come this far already. The little fox ran up the boulder, and began glowing and changing, until her form became that of a woman. Leyann watched as it was happening, reaching out to the woman who had just appeared in front of her. She was speechless. She knew that the fox wasn't just a fox, but she was not expecting the fox to be a woman as well. Leyann just stood there, frozen, not knowing what to do, as she continued to hold her hand. They were looking at each other, knowing that what had happened here is stunning, and anyone would've been frozen like this. Leyann's mind began to wander, thinking about her escape, her running, and eventually, her hiding out here. The adventures the two of them had been through already in such a short time. Then, her emotions had the best of her. She began crying, and came to embrace the woman. "Thank you. Thank you so much. I was stuck in that hell for so long, not being able to think for myself and have a say about my life, until now. You've helped me through all of this without knowing who I am at all. I'm so grateful", Leyann said, as tears continued to stream down her face. "But why? Why did you help me in the first place? You don't know me, I'm a stranger to you.", she asked. So many questions came running in her mind. Leyann just wanted to know for the first time. Know why someone was doing something, especially for her; and it was the first time that it was a nice thing for her, in a long time. Leyann began to keep her emotions in check, at least in the surface. She realized their current situation that their in, and considered that they're still in the vicinity of patrolling heretics. She said, "I trust you. You've helped me so far, and if you were trying to trap me, we would've ran straight to the heretics in the first place. I will let you help me, as you seem to know this area more than me, and I do not want to return to the life I was living."441 words - Ley likes the foxy c: - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK
