Overview
There are many races living within Azelania. Some created by others and some created by the original races from when Azelania formed.
Some races will only be available through questing events or through activity within the community. Please look at the species you would like to make, underneath their introduction/explanation there will be information stating if they are open, closed, event only or on ban.
Each race has six or less sub species,with each species they are labeled common/rare. Although the world is split into factions no race is obligated to fit into a faction but as a general basis each race has factions where the majority will reside in.

Heavenly Court / Sanctus Partes
Overview
The Heavenly Court practice the fine arts of healing and the preservation of life. They worship the gods of heaven praying to them and also giving offerings to gods for redemption. The Heavenly Court is orderly, rules are enforced throughout the days that pass.
Treason is not accepted nor forgiven and so any traitors are shunned by the rest of the court never allowing them entry back.

Overview
The Hellish court is a legion of the darkest creatures. Living underneath the moon and the darkness surrounding them. A life of darkness with darkened natures only trying to adapt to their world.
Worshiping the gods of hell. Missions given to all that must be obied by otherwise death is the only way out of this court. Any traitors are hunted and destroyed. Enemies of the Sanctus Partes, they will not agree or accept their 'purity'

An ancient races that has controlled the workings of Azelania for countless decades. Acting as messengers and as guardians for the Nenyrs they are known for their allegiance to the heavenly mother. Their appearances are rather diverse, their beauty and purity is something many people envy as well as the great power they can contain within them.
They are the leaders of the Sanctus Partes Faction and do not tolerate any traitors. But as leaders and as an ancient race they can become too prideful causing their actions to be clouded with the pride they value so much.Prior to what some may believe, you cannot become an Aira through death.

Overview
Iral are the most common specie of Aira, they live closely with the other races. Hiding their true appearance, they retract their wings back into their body and will only show their true form in battle. They rarely allow their wings to be seen as the retraction of the wings back into the hosts body is very painful.
Each specie of Aria has a different tone to their wings, the pure white wings are the iconic symbol of the Iral. Their eyes can only hold one color, the heterochromia gene that can be seen in other creatures cannot be found in the Iral.They live on Azelania with the other races trying to protect them from corruption but also form bonds so that they can use those bonds for the benefit of the holy mother.
Personality
Thought of as creatures of purity by others the Iral try to remain as creatures of holiness without allowing themselves to be corrupted. Iral are the most laid back of the Aira races; as they are so common they can co-exist with the other races in a symbiotic relationship.
The important and close connections/friendships they make with another turn into a life long promise of protection. Iral are known for their compassion and trust in their companions which some may use to manipulate the powers they can hold.

Overview
Aldhia are creatures of unique beauty and of great importance to the communities of Azelania. Their sole purpose is to spread important information to the communities. Living in complete solitude the Aldhia are not allowed to live with other Aira or other species. Their only friend(s) are the voices of the Nenyrs that give them instructions and commands.
Aldhia are even more unique for their anklet wings that allow them to fly. When they are looking for the people in a crowd their wings transform into golden or silver anklets allowing them to seem completely human. Apart from their Anklet wings they have no other way of flying. Aldhia have a variety of different gene combinations which allow them to have any hair & eye color.
Personality
Aldhia are very shy creatures that try to stay away from the craving attention others would like to give them. Hiding within the crowds they try to blend is as much as they can so that they are not noticed. Creatures of complete solitude means that they make it their primary goal to never get close enough to someone that would hinder their missions.

Overview Keir are often seen as the most magnificent out of the species of Aira. Each pair increases their ranking in the armies they command , so one that has four pairs would be of higher ranking than another Keir with only two pairs.
The legions they command remain loyal to their leaders and those they have been sent to protect. Some splinter off into small groups to help purify Azelania from evil. The tip of their wings normally hold a blue hue to them signifying that they are a Keir. The warriors of the Aira species.
Personality Keir are known for their fiery personalty that can occasionally land them into trouble. They believe in the teachings of the Aira and when one of those teachings are not abide by the Keir are the first to lose patience with outsiders and traitorous Aira. They are the warriors and magicians of the Aira species, ready to be sent to battle at any given time.

Overview
Mekon are creatures of little power comparing themselves to other Aira. They govern the Aira and pass on any messages from their leaders. Their principles, teachings and the rules of the Aira are all kept alive through the Mekon. Any insubordination against their law is not tolerated. Permanent wings of Grey, huge in sizes able to cover their entire body. They can never retract their wings, so Mekon are the most known Aira species.
They fear no one, they are the law and they will take every moment to remind everyone that they control the law that is passed down. If they are ever captured for information they will give their lives back to Azelania as they will not betray their families and race. They are the most loyal of the Aira. Personality
The Mekon are also seen as royalty even though they are not as powerful as some of the other species.

Overview
Neril are the holy onea. The Aira that are looked up to by many and thought of as guardians to those living on Azelania. Neril live differently than the other races, they separate themselves from everyone including Aira. Only coming back to their home race when they are needed for a task that would affect their beautiful Azelania.
Neril believe souly in the Holy Mother and the teachings and laws passed down by the Mekon from a very young age. They are masters of Arcane magic and are skilled in the manipulation of elements to their desires. Neril's wings are blessed by the color of gold or silver, showing the purity of their souls. If that was not enough they may show their halo's to those they believe to be 'charges'. The people who they have been born to protect.
Personality
Neril are creatures of beauty and kindness, although they hide themselves from the sight of others they do watch over those close by and those hunted by others. Their kindness extends to the point they will risk their immortality to save another's life, life to them means little but saving another's makes them fulfill the greatest mission they have wanted.
Although Neril have a special kindness, they are an elusive species of Aira that likes to hide from those they wish to protect. They fear that knowledge of their existence will cause their charges danger and pain.

Overview
Lerkel are known for their complete and utter loyalty to the Nenyrs of Azelania. They act as bodyguards to their Nenyr, never leaving their side, the Lerkel are born with a marking on their body signifying which Nenyr they were born to protect. As the most powerful specie of Aira they keep mingling to a minimum when it concerns 'lesser' races.
Lerkel are distinguished with their white wings that absorb the light around them in an almost incandescent glow. They have six wings resting on their backs but unlike some of the Aira they are able to shift their wings without any pain or discomfort.
Personality
Lerkel hate the dark races, they are born enemies never allowed to interact, only allowed to kill and fight each other. Lerkel rarely question orders or the teachings that were passed down to them remaining completely faithful to their race and to their Nenyr.
To keep Lerkel focused on their missions protecting their assigned Nenyrs they are never allowed to interact with the apposing sex. The Nenyrs are normally the same sex so that their focus is never interrupted. Though there have been rare cases when the opposing sex is given to a Nenyr.

Nenyr's are the gods of Azelania, the creatures that rule not only the world but also the different dimensions surrounding their universe. They can rule over the elements that others use to fight, creatures that not only protect Azelania but also protect the other races sometimes like their own children.
Nenyr's were the first races created by the Drydains, they were created to teach their children and raise Azelania with love. Through the pain and war some Nenyr's changed sides and grew corrupted to the point they wished destruction and death. They cannot be considered 'good' or 'evil' each nenyr's existence has been predestined.

Overview
Thei are one of the most hated specie's of nenyrs. They are creatures born of mixed origin. Half nenyr the other half questionable. They are looked down upon by everyone, seen as the great mistakes of the Nenyrs. They are never allowed to meet with their Nenyr parents and so grow a hatred towards them. Dismissed by many the Thei keep their heritage secret and often live a Hintury way of life, living rather simplistically trying to keep their existence hidden.
Although Thei can have an outward human appearance there are some Thei that have kept the traits of their parents. Horns, reptilian eyes, scales etc; Thei either have the possibility of looking completely like a Hintury or looking like a beast created by the devil.
Personality
As they are hated by everyone the Thei try to keep their distance and keep their heritage a secret never allowing a soul to find out the truth about their blood. Thei are outsiders never accepted in any society, cursed creatures that should have never been created as they are shunned by everyone.
Hated and hunted, sometimes those experiences cause the Thei to grow angry and will show their true powers in defiance. They destroy villages in moments of rage while others hide in the shadows never allowing the light to unmask their tragic past.

Overview
Taies are the children of the nenyrs, possessing only nenyr blood within them. Unlike the Thei, Taies are treasured by the nenyrs and the other races. They see them as the future gods of Azelania so they are often give gifts & offerings so that the Taies will never forget the kindness shown to them when age causes them to ascend to a higher state.
Taies often govern lesser attributes to their parents, for example the Nenyr of Love, their daughter/son could become the Taies of attraction or beauty . Personality
Treasured and protected the Taies are spoiled children that at times believe they can own anything and anyone they desire. They attitude can be a lot to handle for those with short tempers. Spoiled and never punished Taies have no real knowledge of Azelania and life. They believe everything is easy because of what they are, once they step onto Azelania they realize that their life previously was nothing close to what the reality was.

Overview
Solisti are one of the most unique species of Nenyr, they were created and born through the thoughts and emotions of those that had died due to wars, corruption, betrayal. The souls joined together to form a Solisti. Born from their emotions and desire to return onto Azelania, the Solisti can take on magnificent forms.
They watch over the people the souls had to leave behind, having kept their memories they try to fuffil the souls dying wishes. Solisti have beautiful eyes that glow even through the thickest of darkness. Vibrant eyes that reflect the souls within them.
Personality
Solisti are caring creatures that want to thank the souls that gave them life. For that reason they set out onto Azelania trying to fufill all the wishes the souls within them had when they were still alive. Solisti have a strong desire for revenge for those lives that were stolen prematurely.
Solisti have the powers of manipulations mastered, they can fight not only on a physical level but also mentally, causing harm to those that they see as as enemies. No ones mind is free from Solisti.

Overview
Astris are nenyrs created by the stars resting in sky and living in a separate existence to others. Only a few Astris exist in the world, some more powerful than others. The constellations that are considered as Zodiacs are the most power of the Astris species. For example gemini, cancer, scorpio etc.
Astris are born from the constellations, their appearance matches those of the stars. A scorpio Astris will have characteristics such as a scorpion tail or poison running through their veins.
Personality
Astris can be little tricksters, they love the company of others as the sky/universe they live in is lonely and desolate. Astris adore the company of others but because of that exact reason they are manipulated and used for the powers they posses.
They can be rather elusive, escaping the eyes of those wanting to capture or seal them for their powers over the cosmos.

Overview
Zoi's are similar to the Astris Nenyr, living in a rather distant life. The Zoi try to find the company of people that match their own personality, or a personality which won't clash with their own. Zoi's rarely stray away from each other as they enjoy the company of their own kind.
Zoi retain the features of their Zodiac animal, some may have ears and tails while others can have claws and fangs. Their appearance depends entirely on their Zodiac animal.
Personality
Some Zoi can be rather hot blooded and jump into something in the heat of the moment only to regret their actions later on. While others can over analyze a situation to the point they question everything they have ever thought previously at times even questioning life.
Quick to flee, Quick to fight. A personality as fleeting as the wind, they fear the unknown but they are drawn to the unknown for a sense of accomplishment and maybe even some fun.

Theroi are not only the masters of the nenyr races but are also the masters of Azelania. Each Theroi created some aspect of Azelania, from the earth that the races walk on to the air they breathe. Theroi's are creatures that cannot be questioned, questioning their commands will show the traitors.
Feared by most, loved by some. Theroi do not only have magnificent power but also have questionable beauty. Drawing their enemies and allies in with their magnificent beauty.
Personality
Theroi can be very loving but at the same time can be very cruel. They have their own views on things, their own morals and teachings they try to uphold in a chaotic time. While still trying to stay close to their 'children' and those they helped to create.
Their powers fuel their personality, a Theroi that controls ice will have a rather cold personality keeping people at a distance to keep themselves safe.

Korrupte Fraktion
Overview

Sworn enemies of the Sanctus Partes faction, they do not kneel nor bow to any of the 'holy' faction. Shunned and hated by many, Zerix have dealt with a life of ridicule, humiliation, exile. Hated by many the Zerix hide in the shadows only coming out when they were surrounded in a blanket of darkness.
Through time they grew stronger and feared no creature. They became the main army of the Korrupte Fraktion protecting the others under their faction but also working the hardest to summon their master. Always seen as creatures of the devil himself, their demonic characteristics may seem daunting and rather frightening but all that the creatures want is their own world, a world where they wont hide from anyone.

Overview
Etura are magnificent creatures because of their unique nature and appearance. Nothing seems out of the ordinary when you are dealing with them, creatures that posses all the colors of the rainbow all the way back to creatures with dull hues making them blend in with their environment.
Etura are generally more powerful than any mortal races and because of this they may act arrogantly towards mortals. They have different morals and values than most and can cause conflict which can later lead to animosity. They try to avoid any mortal creatures or any that have a strong dislike for Etura, they normally inhabit secluded areas away from mortal creatures / trouble. Some may live near their fated enemies out of interest.
Personality
Contrary to the popular belief, Etura aren't blood thirsty demons with only death on their mind. Etura try to avoid meaningless conflict and so try to steer clear of the opposing faction. Though like any race, there are hot blooded among them that give such a bad reputation to their race. Which only turns to people fearing the Etura and hunting them.
Etura are often drawn to mortal creatures that live shorter lives than themselves. Tales of love and romance ending in sadness where one out lives the other, battles for their love, wars and separation.
Unique Characteristics Demonic;; Etura have a variety of different appearances from horns, claws and cat likes eyes; the list is endless. Though their appearance is never completely hintury, Etura traits will always show. Yokai form;; Some Etura are able to shift into their 'original' forms, their apperances in both forms must link to each other. ex;; Fox like tail and ears when shifting to Yokai form would equal a ninetail or kistune. Overview
Another prominent specie of Zerix, that are said to live in mountain areas far away from civilization and in dense forests. Their bodies are slender and well formed both for men and females. Men have well toned bodies while the females have vivacious curves. They have glowing eyes of various colors and wings of a raven laying behind their back. Their hands and feet shift to be claw like, tails made from feathers.
Isen enjoy posing as hintury and causing trouble within their ranks. Tricksters and masters of magic they like to play games and manipulate those around them. Not only are they skilled with magic but also martial arts. They carry ring topped staffs which amplify their powers these staffs are called Shakugo.
Isen can transform into many other forms often a raccoon, dog or fox. Though they do shift to their original form which is a bird like shadow with no features but pure black shadows.
Personality
Isen can be rather aggressive and territorial, they like to play tricks on mortal creatures causing trouble within their ranks. They are rather malicious, stealing offspring from families which cannot protect themselves. The offspring they either feed on or raise as their own, using them as spies for their games.
Isen are prideful creatures that are easily insulted. They are intolerant to arrogant, blasphemous and those who misuse their powers for personal benefit and also those who disrupt their homes.

Overview
Erili creatures descended from the heavens, wings ripped from their back they lost their ability of flight so grew a deep and powerful connection with earth. Erili are simplistic creatures that have little to no materialistic items. The only connection of importance is the one they have with Azelania.
Able to feel the emotions of the world they sway between the Splinter court, some choosing the Hellish court while others choose the Heavenly. They try their hardest to remain neutral but when their world is in danger they choose the side that would benefit their world.
Having a rather human appearance, the only thing that sets them apart are their animal characteristics animal ears, animal eyes, tails etc;
Personality
Erili are creatures that know other way but that of avoidance. They try their hardest to avoid the danger/wars and conflicts between the races. When that is not a viable option they show their true strength, but only when their world is in trouble.
Erili have powers that could cause great harm to others, but they try to refrain themselves from using those abilities as it cuts their connection with Azelania for a long period of time. This makes them vulnerable to manipulation/corruption and also loss of their powers, the connection with Azelania can be cut for long periods or ended completely.

Scindo Fraktion
Overview
Dokebi are creatures that are not born into the world, but created. They are created in many different ways, and hold many different appearances. One thing stays consistent through each species though; they are all combined with one of two things; magic, or emotions. What that energy goes into, is what makes each type of dokebi different from the others.
Their appearances differ from one creature to the next. No two dokebi are exactly the same, because no two emotions from different people are identical. Some are beautiful, and move so intricately it's impossible to believe that they have no beating heart. Others look like puppets, marionettes that have lost their owners and their strings. With their rigid movements and stiff appearances they are the truly unlucky.

Overview
Dauo are the most common of their race, created from the emotions of a living creature. They are formed when someone looses something special to themselves, and replace what was lost. They can be the equivalent of a child's toy or a queen's crown; no one knows exactly where or why they appear; only that they are completely devoted to their creators. Dauo need to be taken care of, just like any object, or their lifespans are short and their lives are relatively insignificant. Their skin is fair, and their faces share a faint sheen and the feeling of porcelain.
Personality
Dauo are the most innocent subspecies of their race. They start out childlike, knowing nothing of the world or why they are within it. What they are taught in their first hundred years of living is the basis of who they will turn out to be. The porcelain creatures are mold able, and can become whatever their masters desire. They are a delicate species, and prefer not to fight because of the maintenance it requires to repair them.
Unique Characteristics: Dauo can be taken apart and put back together, and although they feel sensations such as touch and pressure, they don't have nerves, so they don't feel pain.

Overview
Animere are the most lovely of the dokebi. These creatures are born of emotion and magic. No object is involved in their animation, only imagination and power. Capable of moving just like any other, Animere live and breath like the other races. Their eyes are moist, and their joints do not creak or crack. In most ways, they are alive. They are nicknamed in their own race as the bounded, because they perhaps require the most sacrifice to create. One must give half of their remaining life, and half of their heart in order to create an Animere. They are born with their creator's knowledge, and can adopt even their elements and personalities as their own.
Personality
Animere are beautiful, and know that they are such. Often times they are naive, but they are vain when it comes to their appearance and their importance. Creatures of confidence, they are proud of their places beside their creators. Although they are not the most powerful, they are intelligent, and driven by their creator's wants and needs.
Unique Characteristics- Animere feel, unlike the other dokebi races. They have all of the senses that a living creature has; but there is one thing that they lack; blood. They don't bleed, but when they are cut they loose a bit of magic. Playful creatures that love to dance and sing under the moon and stars. Ithil are very shy, they try to avoid strangers by hiding in the shadows the moon casts. Gaining energy and power from the moon means that during the day if they are seen journeying they can become very weak.

Anar are sister species of the Ithil, like polar opposites though some would think they clash they often mix in together unable to separate the two species apart. Just like their sister specie they too posses glowing eyes, their eyes absorb the light from the sun and allow their eyes and entire bodies to glow and sometimes event their hair.

Anar are the elder specie from the two sister species. Where as the Ithil are very friendly and playful the Anar seemed reserved and contained. Although they show no malice to another creature they make it their mission to stay clear of any drama or conflict caused by another.

Huine are creatures that are often thought of as evil or corrupt. Misguided and judged incorrectly, Huine keep an existence of night. Their existence is kept secret, although a large number of them exist within Azelania their numbers are unknown as they are masters of trickery and invisibility.

Elen are solitary creatures, living alone or in very small groups they keep far from any person or creature. For their rarity they are hunted for their beauty, when captured their powers stolen and their beauty used as bargaining tools or thrown into the slave trade.
Elen stay in the most inhabitable lands of Azelania far from any person who would want to cause them harm or steal the power that connects them with the galaxy. Always looking up to the sky they are often called sky gazers or star gazers, looking for some kind of hope.
Personality
Elen have tried to forgive the past, but the past seems to always chase after them. Hunted for their powers and beauty the Elen have a solitary existence rarely showing themselves to anyone not even people from their own race.
Elen can seem rather stuck up, because of how distant they seem to others. Fear can take control of an Elen very easily and cause them to lose control of their powers.

Lukel are the unfortunate creatures that have been created by another, unbound to Azelania at times they feel secluded and hunted. With an appearance able to infiltrate any race they are rarely found by those born of Azelania.
Lukel have a master, a goal in life in which they feel is the most important thing. Some may even end their lives if their mission cannot be fulfilled. Lukel can be destructive with no control over their powers, but at the same time there will be Lukel which are reserved and their powers have been mastered.
Some do not even know of the powers they posses and so the powers remain dormant until their host needs them.

Their personalities are quite diverse, they don't see the world in any other way apart from their original. The person they were cloned from. If they passed away or went into hiding the Kara would resume their everyday life. Horrid or not.
Their emotions are controlled and they rarely lose their tempers. The key to controlling a Kara is to keep it from ever finding out that they are fakes.

Maina are similar if not the same to the Aira, the community structure is the same with each specie's contributing to something very different. The only difference is their overall attitude, some have gained vampiric tendencies and others have started to shift into a demonic form.
Its been said that Zerix derived from the Aira that had been cursed down to Azelania. Through the years they began to evolve, losing their angelic wings and growing characteristics which gave them the name of Zerix.

Overview
Lanta were the last angels to fall onto Azelania and find comfort within the hellsih court. Lanta have yet to evolve into their demonic descendants. Keeping a similar appearance to the Aira from above, their wings have shifted from the previous white to almost black in color.
Their hair has stayed similar allowing, their hair to range from blonde to pure black.
Personality
Cursed from heaven the Lanta are creatures fueled by anger and resentment. Some were shunned just for the mere notion of piece with the Zerix. Lanta can be hot spirited when it comes to their ancestors, their previous family.
Now working for the hellish faction they travel throughout Azelania trying to teach the people their beliefs and that all the Hellish Court really want is a reset of the world. They recruit people into their court, some manipulated into doing so while others have been taken from their own free will.
Lanta can be rather manipulative, but for those who are under their court they show their soft side, healing and protecting those needing it.

Kesh have a dark experience, pale skin, glowing eyes that are always vibrant and contrasting hair that is either black or white.
Personality
Not much is known about kesh and how they act towards others. They feed on the emotions that others have during the time that the Kesh is around. Their emotions can be influenced with those around them.
They rarely speak to outsiders, or even to their own kind. Although they live with others, its a kind of symbiotic relationship where they feed of the emotions but never harm the creature in the process. Agarn are a specie of Maina that have a life in the darkness with no real choice. Their wings were stolen by other races, wings that held powers were expensive in the black market. Aira would steal the wings of those that had spoken with a Zerix, cursed for eternity their bodies hold markings that keep their wings from ever sprouting.
Keeping them imprisoned on the ground with the rest of the races, their only people that accept their accursed existence are those in the Hellish Court.
Agarn don't have any specific coloring, originally Aira that lost their wings they can have hair from black - white and their eyes can be light or dark. The one thing that sets them apart are the markings that grow as the years pass. The markings cause the host pain when they are close to those that stole their wings.
Personality
Frightened creatures, Agar rarely allow the contact of others. Hiding away in their homes or hide outs they can have severe Agoraphobia. Stopping them from leaving their homes or allowing the touch of another creature onto their skin.
Agarn fear nearly everything, as they are imprisoned never able to fly they have been used as 'slaves' by the hellish court.

Carne are Maina that have slowly lost their ancestors traits, their wings are tainted in a red color that only grows darker the more they kill. Carne must feed of other races or animals in order to survive, their body doesn't produce enough blood to function or their vital organs so they must take that blood from those around them, sometimes leading the creature to death.
Carne aren't evil in the sense. They must hunt and feed off the blood in order to survive. Survival of the fittest with the after taste of remorse and regret.
Personality
Carne are split in the middle when it comes to their personality. The Carne that are social and friendly, the ones that try to fight their natural instincts feed of animals so that they can be near the other races.
The ones that feed of the other races on the other hand are much stronger physically. Their emotions are heightened and they may grow angry/depressed by a simple word that wasn't meant in a negative way.

Charyn live in a tight knit fashion. They work for themselves and for their own personal gain. As a whole, this species has a heiarchy all of it's own within it's species; and a shifter can grow respect and get power by simply having the right connections. Most charyn are very in tune with nature, but there are those that use it for their own personal gain. Overview
These shifters do not have a full human form. They are easy to pick out from other races, their hair skin taking on coloration of their animal. The tainted are often tall, and look strong; well muscled, their strength is not something that they hide in their appearance. They are not as sensitive to nature as other shifters, almost appearing as demons to some. Vyolan are feared.
They are creatures of darkness, and are the only ones of their species that can even think of standing up to the Viami. They have led countless rebellions, but have failed to overthrow the top dogs every time. Their animal forms are large, and by all means dangerous; but they are only accessed out of extreme passion, or intense training along with experience.
Personality
They are shifters that come from a corrupted line of Viami. They are not as strong, but equal their rarer cousins with a coy slyness that can not be ignored. They are often unorthodox, and do not listen to orders given to them by anyone that they do not respect. Vyolan are violent and dark, arrogant and bold, and are the most likely to rebel. Never will they bow down to any sort of master, when they work it is for their own personal needs and nothing less.
Unique Characteristics
Their animal forms are large, and by all means dangerous; but they are only accessed out of extreme passion, or intense training along with experience. Some believe the Viami cursed them to their partial hintury forms, their horns and wings, strange colored eyes and skin, make them easy to spot, easy to topple before they can become a hassle. Most though are proud of their looks; they are a tall species, strong, intimidating, and capable of more than they are given credit for. Overview
Iyaku are respected shapeshifters, and as such they are rather unorthodox. They are manipulative, equipped with sly tongues from the very start. They are the ones that most often get things done. There is nothing more dangerous than an Iyaku on a mission. An Iyaku's human form is usually well kept, but sharply built. With high cheekbones and almond eyes, as well as the occasional elongated canines and fingernails that are not quite claws but close enough; they are not impossible to point out. Their hair comes in dark colors, and their skin varies from pale to the darker end of the spectrum.
Personality
Iyaku are merciless, and care little to nothing for nature or wildlife unless the Viami tell them to tread carefully they will not take it to mind. Just as quickly as they will use an animal's body to change their forms and leave it for the vultures and flies, they will use a friend or comrade to get what they want -or get themselves out of a sticky situation. Only the Viami are respected among these shifters. Some Iyaku believe that they should be at the top of the Shape shifter chain of command, but they must keep those thoughts to themselves.
Unique Characteristics
Their shifting abilities are strange, as there is a reason that they are called the contractors. They steal an animal's body, pushing their soul out of them in order to take their form. The more intelligent the animal, the harder it is to take their bodies; because the animal must agree to give it to the Iyaku. If only they knew that once their soul left their vessels that they couldn't get it back.

Overview
The infamous Viami. They are the strongest, the wisest, and the deadliest of the shapeshifters. For thousands of years they have looked down at the others, used them as their pawns, and even made them their own personal creations. They each come from various backgrounds, but come together out of fate and inevitability. The spirit animals that thrive within each Viami chooses it's host based on potential strength and location. They come together within the korrupte court, and are bred by the elders of their kind to be leaders. To be murderers, to be monsters. Their shifted forms are incredible, dripping with power and energy, the true forms of the spirits that they are hosting.
Personality
When two Viami come together they create another spirit; but the baby is not born to them. Their bodies must not be harmed by pregnancy, but their child will be theirs. By instinct and the will of the gods they know exactly who their children are. If a Viami child grows up with the wrong family, it will grow out of control, quite possibly becoming a beserked, chaotic form of what they could have been. The spirit animal within them becomes enraged because it is not around it's own kind, it has no power without being a part of something, and without power a Viami is nothing. Rakuh are creatures of nature and emotions. Myths and legends say they were born for the protection of nenyrs. Some say they symbolize the start of a new beginning. Either way they are feared for their unique nature and origin.
Rakuh hide in every corner of Azelania, watching the other races suspiciously making sure that every moment of their lives are documented. Creatures of mystery shrouded in mist these Rakuh are elusive and very hard to catch or to even find.

Overview:Eiolos are the rakuh of the water. They are completely at home within the ocean, in lakes, rivers and ponds alike. Like the childish fantasies, they look to be half fish when seen by those not used to seeing their kind. But it's more than simply a fin, they are creatures that can withstand the immense pressure leagues and leagues under the sea. Their gills keep them breathing and their tails are long, and have a slightly paddle like shape to them to keep them moving. They are beautiful in an exotic sense, around the size of your average hintury from the waist up. Their skin is usually pale, and even tinted blue or green. A Eiolos's hair is rarely cut, and can grow to great lengths and comes in many different colors.
Personality: A species rarely seen by any other, Eiolos are silent creatures. Curious about the ships that pass over their heads, and the different races and species that sail upon it's docks. They rarely interact their claimed areas of the ocean are somehow terrorized. Ships have been known to sink when in aquarian territory, for reasons that are usually unknown. They have little to do with the war, and their lives have remained stable throughout most of Azelania's destruction and reconstruction alike.
Unique Characteristics: Eiolos have one creature that they are bonded to, an animal that swims beside them and grows with them. Whether a fish, or a sea serpent, this creature represents a side to the Eiolos that they do not casually show. It is a part of their soul, and as such they may talk and be talked to.
Hintury Form: Eiolos are capable of taking human forms, but they must stay near the water. The ringing in their ears is the sea calling to them, and the needles in their legs and feet when they walk are to remind them that they are not people themselves. An aquarian's bonded animal will take a different form when they are not in the water.

Overview: Born with wings but for some unknown reason children will end up never having the ability to use their wings.. Those that can use their wings do not because they hate not having the ground beneath their feet. They gain strength from the earth around them, so it's natural that when they aren't near anything earth, they will feel much weaker and probably find it very hard to move around...
Because they hardly use their wings, they are considerably weaker than the other sirens. Their greatest secret is their ability to communicate with the world. Ordering the world around them to defend them against attacks or guide them to their destinations.
They are known for their intelligence and their wise knowledge which they gain from Nature.
Personality: Soniea find it the easiest out of all the rakuh to blend in with other races, for that reason they are often the assassins and spies of the race. They are able to live in society unnoticed and that means they find gaining information easy as well as spreading it back to their leaders using their ability to commune with the world.
Unique characteristics: Rakuh form; Have no wings/small wings not strong enough to protect them but some have the ability to fly for short periods. Hintury form; Their hintury form is rather basic to allow them to blend into their environment, as they are unable to fly for long periods they will often remain in their hintury form for extended periods sometimes even years.

Overview: Aero Sirens, unlike any of the other Sirens which would normally have two wings on a certain part of their body, Aero Sirens will always have six wings, because that is what they use to communicate with air. Their ability is called "Wind Whispering". They are able to see what is ahead of them or know of any incoming enemies by communicating with the wind..
No one else would hear anything except the Siren, who would hear faint whispers in their ears and bell chimes.
Personality: Aero Sirens are known for their gentleness and unwillingness to fight unlike Sky Sirens, they don't concentrate on fighting. They are more of magic users that use the wind for healing or summoning of creatures, which are created by the Sirens heart depending on their emotion.
Unique characteristics: Hintury form; Their hintury form is rather basic to allow them to blend into their environment, as they are unable to fly for long periods they will often remain in their hintury form for extended periods sometimes even years.

Overview: Sairen are the vampire of the ocean, feeding off of swimmers and sailors alike. They lure others toward them with their beauty, as well as their lovely voices; and with a bit of charm, get close to their victims before dragging them into the ocean where they are never seen again. They have elongated features, and scaly, flipper like fins. Siren have gills, but their skin is not as thick and their bodies not as durable as one would think. They live in shallow waters, and are at a disadvantage when in deeper territory. They are often mistaken for mermaids.
Personality: Sairen are not shy creatures, but they can pretend to be. Masters of deception, their true colors are rarely seen; and when they are, the onlooker will almost surely perish. They take no mercy once they lay eyes on a victim, and will chase them to the end of the earth only to take their lives. Called Sea Witches for good reasons, they are well versed in the sea's magic, and are dangerous spell casters.
Unique characteristics: Sairen have hintury forms, but whenever they are wet their aquatic appearance is shown. They are capable of traveling great distances, and living in harsh conditions; but prefer living in and near the ocean.

Overview: Ethera sirens are probably the most common in all of Azelania, and the ones which are less feared by the other races. They are known for their gentleness and are often found in the air, dancing with their wings spread out. Ethera sirens have two large wings on their head that extend to their feet. They are large enough to completely surround their body when they are meditating or if they need protect themselves.
They have a very strong ability that lets them communicate with those that cannot speak for themselves. From an animal, to a tree, and even water.
If they are unable to see the sky for long periods of time, they begin to feel weaker and some even faint.. Some may even get seriously ill. Due to the war, many areas of Azelania have dark clouds covering the sky, so it is a dangerous world for ethera.
Personality: It is rare to see them alone and it is even more rare to see them with another race. They are very shy, and those that are not, will still distance themselves from others because they are hunted for their wings. Superstition has said that their wings hold the magic of a thousand years and the people who manage to harness the powers will gain unparalleled power.
Ethera are evasive, so they will often dodge their enemies attacks, tiring them out before going in for the attack. This is not because they are weak, they have a strength that could rival any race, but Ethera think of their weapons as an extension of themselves hate to taint them with blood or death.

Overview One of the oldest races dating so far back that some have suggested that they could be one of the original races of Azelania. They were seen before the wars ripped Azelania apart and some tomes speak of them as far back as when Azelania was called Zyntar. They are a strong race which only grows stronger dependent on what they feed on and for how long they are able to maintain a high quality of food. They are unlike other races as they feed in a slightly different way dependent on what kind of species they are.

Overview Enther are the most common kind of Karnl they are found in all corners of Azelania. They have no specific home or location where they are found as they have spread everywhere through the years. Enther are an old race which date back to Zyntar times prior to all the wars that transpired afterwards. They are highly knowledgeable have many experts in different fields, many of the newer races head towards them for advice. That being said Enther are highly territorial and aggressive as a race. They feed off blood of other races as well as from animals. They have little need for normal food but will eat out of habit or respect for those they are entertaining.
Personality Enther are very elusive, in the sense that although they are in every aspect of Azelania life they hide their heritage. They are very distrusting as one of the oldest races they have gained many enemies and are often hunted for information they would rather not share. They are very territorial and aggressive if cornered so if found its better to just turn and leave than to antagonize them. While Enther are experts at controlling their emotions, they find it harder to control every impulse the longer they go without feeding. Feeding not only increases their strength but it also sustains their impulse to kill in order to feed. During periods when they have yet to feed their behaviour might be drastically different.
Unique Characteristics Smell & Sight ;; They have exceptional sense of smell and sight, they are able to hunt down someone from a piece of clothing that has their scent. Overview Creatures created by an unknown force, they have learned well to blend in with other races so they are not harmed. Similar to Enther in the sense they don’t feed in the conventional way, they feed by devouring a specific sin or attribute specific to that shadou. For example one shadou may feed on death so in a time when war is eminent it would mean he/she would grow more powerful if they were close to where there was a lot of deaths. Their outward appearance is very human, only few shadou show any remnants of their beast form while in human form. They are able to shift into another creature, their original form. This form is rarely a normal animal but will most likely be a mythical creature. Personality As they are so unique and rare they are even more elusive than the Enther. Although the Enther integrate themselves into society shadou are the complete opposite. They will avoid humanity and will rarely if ever live in a village where there are others. They only interact to feed or to hunt, they rarely make close connections with others. Unique Characteristics Shifting;; Has the ability to change forms into another creature, this creature is more likely to be towards a mythical creature than an ordinary animal. These creatures may possess dark features or heavenly ones depending on what they feast upon. Feasting;; Each shadou lives off an aspect of life, be that lust, gluttony, sadness, hope etc; They will follow races around and feast on a specific aspect of life. Sacrifice;; If another race/creature is near death Shadou's are able to give half of their heart to that creature. This creates a bond and will flow energy and life into the other. When one dies so does the other as well as sharing each others emotions, pain and in some cases can gain a mental connection which will also mean memories.
