How to-The Start
▼
♞
Well to solve some problems in the future, by reading this tutorial you will get a step by step of how to make a character successfully and efficiently. Step One:Reading Important Threads
▼
Read the following posts:
(01)Code of Conduct (Rules)
(02)Races of Azelania
(04)Elements and Powers
(05)Ranks
(06)Plot
Step Two: Character bio Template
▼
Once familiar with the rules and the races decide on what race you would like. Note the headings above the races, some are only available during certain periods and therefore if you want one of those limited races either pick another or ask one of the staff members nicely.
Okay so you've picked a race, Next you need to go to 'Pending
In this board you will find a template for the character bio.
Copy the code found on (01)Character Bio template and make a new thread on the Character Inn board.
Step Three: Forming a character
▼
This can be rather hard to do especially if it's your first character being created. Try by looking at other bio's that members have made to give you inspiration or to help you start your own.
This does not mean 'copy'. Copying any piece of work a member has made will result in a warning and severe cases a short ban from the site. Please respect each other.
Step Four Picking an Element and Rank
▼
What elements will run through their veins? Don't be silly in trying to make them overpowered that will quickly make your application moved to the scrap pile. No mary sues or gary sues is that understood.
You are allowed 2 FREE elements. Rest you buy.
Pick the rank you wish. Don't forget to read the rules and any requirements needed to have that rank.
Step Five: Working out an appearance and personality
▼
Try to find a reference picture, this will help you describe your character and you can also sense some kind of personality in the way the picture presents itself to you. The picture can also be added in addition to your appearance description portion of the biography.
Step Six: Whats their history?
▼
The history of your character creates depth and brings life to your character. It helps other members understand your character and helps them decide if they would like to roleplay with that character.
History is not optional. The requirement is 150 words minimum but the more you write the more depth the character will have.
