BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK Al felt free. She was finally to leave and explore the land, fulfilling her need to satisfy her wanderlust. She had to leave Lysithia. Al had enough. She didn't want to be confined into one place; one city, especially a city where she shares a home with her sister. She knew she was dark inside. The way she matured as the years went by didn't bode well in Al's thoughts. On the day mother told them she was an Aldhia, things changed. Alyia finally knew that mother was the reason for all of their hardships, she was lost. She didn't want to be around her sister. She had an aura, a feeling of blackness inside. Nothing good or bad, it just like you were looking at someone who was empty and void, a shell of who they used to be. So she left, and now she's here. On the coast of the continent. The sea-breeze, the sound of the waves, and the mist in the air makes Al feel relaxed, releasing her from every worry... until she hears screeches. She heard a female voice, and saw a character run from an entrance to a cavern. She bolted in that direction. She couldn't stop the girl in time to ask her what had happened, but she knew she was young and probably shouldn't have been where she was. All she cares about is that she's fine now. I was probably a silly dare or some sort from her friends, Al thought. But now Al's interest was piqued. She wanted to know what that sound was, but most importantly, she wanted to explore the caverns. The area around it was blue, a sort of luminescence. Where is that coming from? Is that from the beast within?, she thought. As she approached the blue glow, it followed her as she walked. Where her footsteps would be, is where the blue was instead. As she entered, she thought that it would be pitch black, and almost impossible to see, but it was like the glow continued into the caverns. There were fungi growing throughout that also had the blue glow. It was impossible to not stare at it, it was beautiful. Al was mesmerized, she hasn't seen anything like it before. She was amazed by the look of this place. I never knew a beautiful place like this existed, she thought. Until she heard a whisper, like someone was right beside her. She turned but no one was there, so she kept on. The blue was endless, as the entire cavern floor was illuminated by the iridescence of the fungi. Until it was covered by something in her way. She didn't know what it was, it was just there. It wasn't a being, it was a shadow, something that blackens everything around it. Even the fungi around it stopped glowing, like they feared it. The shadow grew larger and the black of it got deeper. Is this the thing that girl saw?, she thought. As that thought crossed her mind, the shadow grew even larger, even blacker than it was before. Now, how do I fight this?, Al though to herself, troubled and worried. She never thought she had to fight a shadow, she never thought they even existed, but here she is now. In front of a shadow. About to fight it. More things surrounded her. Dogs of some kind emerged from behind the stalagmites. They looked feral, hungry for blood. As they circled her, they spontaneously combusted, like they were dogs from the depths of hell. Now, I'm in some predicament.
The only way she is to leave from this dangerous place is to use her power. She isn't well versed in it yet, the Aira basically forbade her to use it. It was too powerful to use it in the walls of the city, and an inexperienced user can lose control of it easily. She needs to learn how to use it in a couple moments now though, who knows what these creatures will do to her. She unsheathed her longsword, planted it in the ground, and knelt, chanting as this is happening. A cloud of purple-blue surrounded her, almost the like the stars themselves were accumulating around her presence. The cloud grew larger and larger as Al continued to chant. Maybe it'll work this time. She continued, the sword started to glow like it was the sun. The power was coursing through her veins, down her arm, into the sword itself. Until it snapped in half. Well shit.

[attr="class","pop"] H ow long had it been? How much time had passed since she had listened to another’s voice? A human voice that wouldn’t sound grotesque something real, something that wouldn’t give someone nightmares. A female voice, soft and dainty. She watched from the distance the light in the caverns fading away from her hiding her from anyone’s vision she watched as she explored. She watched her shoulders heavy by some unknown weight. Was she running? Was she hiding from something or someone like Rauel? For as long as she could remember her only guidance was him, her only friend was imprisoned and sealed away. Though she could see him for a few short moments it was too dangerous now, he was weak. Almost dying he too would fade with time and she would be left behind once more. Sealed by people that feared him, cursed to keep his powers weak and contained in hopes he would weaken to the point he could be killed. That moment approached she felt him slowly giving up the will to fight.. She wouldn’t allow another to leave her. She watched as the girl continued to explore, she knew the beasts were stalking her from the shadows. Something about her felt familiar, her body touched by something that seemed too close to Rauel. She shook the thought from her mind and was going to leave when one of the creatures attacked, a shadou.. Those things were so hard to control, so wild and erratic. Their soul desire was to defend him, she couldn’t blame them if she could kill everyone that was waiting for a chance to kill him she would. Her weakness kept that from happening, if she shed any blood she would weaken and she couldn’t afford weakness not now. The girl started to chant, she knelt down to face her she realised at that moment why something was so familiar. Her eyes glowed in the darkness watching her chant in order to defend herself from the shadou. Quite quickly the sword broke, it didn’t come as a surprise to her such a weak sword wouldn’t be able to withstand such power. She jumped drown from a cliff inside the cavern landing in the luminescent pool as she walked more of the cavern began to glow in a similar way. The shadou that had taken form of a huge hell hound backed away slowly, lowering its head as Rauel came closer to the young girl her eyes glowing as if stars were moving within them. Her large sword resting on her back she sighed walking closer to the girl, her galaxy tail swirling behind her. “Erishkigal, you are meant to make intruders leave not make them fight you.” The hounds that had taken to the shadou’s side retreated heading deeper into the caverns back to the gateway back to guarding him. Erishkigal made a noise similar to what would be considered a laugh before turning her back to the girl and heading into the darkness her body growing smaller until she took her female form heading back to her guarding duty. Rauel looked down at the girl still clinging to the remnants of her sword, one of poor quality. “You should leave.” Her eyes scanned the girl’s body, she sighed and extended a hand out. “It’s dangerous here.”

BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK I knew it wasn't the best sword, but I didn't know it would just shatter into pieces like how it did then. She didn't know what to do without the sword. She isn't familiar enough with her power to use it weapon-less, and she knew that these beasts wouldn't succumb to her hand-to-hand combat. Not only because it would be hard to land a hit, but Al wasn't too good at that in the first place. After leaving home, all of her initial money from her parents went into food, water and accommodation. Her family was a middle-class family, so not a lot of funds were put into her 'finding herself' journey. The initial sword she had was the family heirloom, which was unfortunately lost during one of her adventures. All of the money she had came from quests hat she had done during her adventures were spent on a replacement sword. It wasn't amazing, but it got things done. Until now. With the remaining fragments of the sword in her hand, she felt like this was the end. A sense of serendipity would be her downfall. Then she saw something jump in front of her. Not something, rather some one. Her aura around her looked familiar. The same, purple-black glow that emanates from Al when she's using her powers is emanating from her tail. Could she be using cosmos as well?
She then spoke to the beasts surrounding them, and they suddenly scattered. Al was speechless, not sure who this person is. Obviously she has been here for a while, but why? Why here out of all places, with all of these beasts around? At least she's saved. For now. The woman helped her up, and it's now the two of them standing by themselves in the clearing. "Thank you", Al said, nervously. She doesn't know if she's a friend or an enemy. Her spine tingles and Al tenses up. "What just happened there? Who are you?". So many questions flowing through Al's mind. Overthinking, like she always ends up doing. Those are the important questions for now, there's time for all of the rest later. She just needs to figure out who's standing in front of her.

[attr="class","pop"] W hat a strange individual, was this normal? Was the average person in Azelania so curious? She told her to leave and yet here she was asking about her. Her eyebrow raised slightly she seemed skeptical, she scanned her up and down before sighing rather loudly out of frustration. She ran her hands who her hair trying to figure out what exactly to do with this stranger, a stranger that wouldn't leave even after coming face to face with a shadou. How was she to explain to her who she was... She was no one.. She only remembered a name, a name given to her a long time ago. A time before the world became pitch black, before darkness took over and the only way to survive was to be on the winning side. She remembered those peaceful days in the sun with the young princess, the one that had won her masters heart. He was happy, he finally had someone that could understand him, but even that was soon taken. Flames blazed and those same fields that young princess relax in were just burnt, pure blackness seeping into the ground. No life, no light. The young girl, the one that seemed too pure for the world was taken so far from Eyal that not even Rauel could find her in the living or in afterlife.. Separated completely for all of eternity.. She hated people, they were the cause of her masters pain and they were the reason she remained here. So much had been taken from her she wouldn't allow this ugly world to take another person from her even if it meant her life would be spent in these dark caverns.. The caverns lit up in response to her emotions, lights flickering like stars moving through the walls as if the galaxy itself was around them. She sighed once more and pointed to the sword. "You should pick it up, it's useless for your powers though." She began walking off into the distance stopping and sighing once mroe her shoulders slouching when she realised she couldn't just leave this girl so far deep in the caverns. "Will you leave or do you want to remain."└ Tags-- ( Melidas ) └ notes: Aww poor Eri just wanted a bite I stilll wait for the day someone will save us

BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK Why is she looking at me like that?, Al thought, puzzled. She looked at her like she came from another world. In a way, she's correct. It looks like she has been in these caverns for a very long time, like she's tied to the place almost permanently. It's almost if as she has distanced herself, maybe even disconnected herself from the main society of Azelania, almost like she's a completely different world. When Al asked her about herself, he didn't say anything. She stood there, pondering, but said nothing. Like it didn't matter, or like there wasn't any history that even mattered to her, like it was completely black and barren. But she obviously has a lot of history to herself, as she seems well versed with the world, almost like she was reborn at one time. She took some time thinking about what to say, if Al was needing to know about her at all. It seems like she doesn't care about that fact just yet. It seems like she almost has no care for Al at all. That needs to change. She seems like someone Al should get to know, no matter how fearful she makes Al. She seems powerful, she knows what she's doing, and knows how to use cosmos. This may be my only shot. No one else knows how to use this power, no one else can teach me. How can I convince her? How can I change her mind about me? She thought to herself, still staring at the sword which is on the cavern floor. So many things are running through her mind, like always. Wanting to learn and become stronger, learn her powers that were given to her. But at the same time, not wanting to make a powerful enemy, and not wanting to die, either. She told her to pick it up, even if it is useless, and to either stay or go. "I'm going to stay.". Al said, trying to show courage, and not trying to act impetuous. "What am I to do with this broken sword if I am not able to use my powers with it?", she asked, trying not to ask about so many things at once. "It seems as though you have this type of power as well. Can you help me?". Let's hope that wasn't too much to ask.

[attr="class","pop"] R auel was ready to leave, to ignore this girl and just to head back and rest but instead she found herself confused.. She faced the girl, her hands crossed over her chest and just tried to figure her out. Rauel couldn't understand this girl, was she stupid or just crazy. Most looked at this place in awe but once they had seen the creatures of the night hiding in the caverns or when their eyes grazed passed hers that was when they would normal flee. Yet here was a girl that had stood up to a shadou, with a broken weapon she still stood in front of her with resolve.. She wanted to advance she wanted to learn, her eyes stared at hers as if she was expecting her to be the one to teach her how to master her element. She took a deep breathe, maybe it was time life changed around here. She had been alone for so long she had forgotten how to be with another creature who's soul purpose wasn't to just protect their master. "Pick it up, we might be able to make something better with that broken sword." She had to make sure she could be trusted.. She thought of how she could test her.. Remembering that dragon that had stolen one of her necklaces. "I'll help you but in return, you need to retrieve something from me." The dragon was peaceful, it wouldn't harm her but she would need to use some skill in retrieving her necklace. It loved to tease Rauel, it only hid it further in its den. She didn't have the luxury of hunting for jewellery. Her soul purpose was to protect Eyal and not allow an enemies close, she needed to rest.. She hadn't seen the young girl leave this world, she wasn't in the afterlife nor on Azelania... Purgatory was empty of her soul which made her curious... Where had she ended up after the curse was activated.. An alliance with someone that was free would help her by gaining information.. She looked at the girl and Rauel's expression softened calming her nerves. She could end up helping her in more ways than just one. └ Tags-- ( Melidas ) └ notes: Aww poor Eri just wanted a bite I stilll wait for the day someone will save us

BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK Al was staring at her intently, wishing that she didn't ask so much from the woman. She has only just met her, and their first encounter was her saving Al from basically certain death. There really isn't any reason why she should trust Al, or even save her from the beginning. She was just some woman, walking into a domain she was unfamiliar with because she was curious. And as they say, curiosity kills the cat. But Al was lucky that she wasn't the cat that died, this time. She was fortunate enough that the person who was used to this place wasn't someone who leaves people here to die. Al was also lucky that she ended up having cosmos as well, and well versed with it at that. She looked at Al, puzzled. Wondering what has just fallen onto her lap. Why she wasn't running from a terrifying place, why she wasn't running from her when she saw her. Why she wasn't a coward, or why she wasn't thinking straight for not leaving such a hostile environment. She told Al to pick her sword up, perhaps having it be part of a new weapon. Al was surprised; first, because she's letting Al stay, and helping Al out. Second, because she had just asked for her to pick up the remaining shards from her shattered sword. "Why use this? It might break just as easy as it had before.", Al asked, perplexed. She didn't listen to her, just going on her way, continuing the conversation like Al hadn't said anything. She wanted Al to help her. Of course she does, no one here does anything from the goodness of their own heart. They always need something back, she thought. She had realized that she is asking her quite a big favor too, helping her learn her power, something she couldn't do before. Everything was worth it. Everything was worth it to gain its power. To master cosmos. "Do you know where I can begin to find what you need?", Al asked. All she said was she needed something found, something retrieved from her. Did someone steal something from her? Why would she need someone like me, sword-less and powerless, find something of hers, someone strong and skilled in combat?
Al thought, should I delve deeper about her story? Or should I go on like it doesn't matter?
"Who are you, really?", Al asked, moving backward from what she had said before. Maybe this time, it was too far. Maybe this time, curiosity killed the cat.

[attr="class","pop"] T here it was again.. more questions to things she couldn't explain. One more person to grow annoyed with her for how little she shared. "I don't think it really matters who I am. Does it.." She paused and sighed. " Rauel" She never used to be this bad socialising with people if anything she had Did she really need to answer all her questions, she hated questioned hated socialising.. How long had it been where she could enjoy the company of another girl. Her company consisted of Eyal, and his guardians. Eyal wasn't himself he had changed so much from the years of abuse and isolation. All he wanted was Laleli but their separation continued to drain his sanity, any longer and she feared he would truly becoming insane. She lead her through some narrow spaces, lit by that strange glow that had become so normal to Rauel but for anyone else it was was something beautiful something so hypnotising you couldn't help but stand there and stare how the light seemed to move through the rocks. She never looked back to see if the girl had listened to her advice and picked up the shattered pieces of her broken sword. She just kept moving through the tunnel until they came to a clearing outside of the caverns listening to the waves crashing against the rocks. The night sky, Rauel stared up at the stars taking comfort in the darkness knowing she would be less eye catching in the darkness away from the eyes of any travellers crossing. She continued to lead her through the slipper rock path, jumping from one rock to the next until they came to another entrance. The water seemed to ebb away from the cavern itself as if something was keeping the water away. She sat down on the rock and looked up at her smiling. "Inside is an interesting little creature who has stolen a necklace from me, if you get it back ill reward you with what you want. A new weapon and possibly a way to control that power eating at you. Begging to be summoned." A smirk rose on her lips... Interesting little creatures.. Just a dragon nothing too bad yet she couldn't help but keep that part a secret. Inside a small dragon slept curled up in a dark nook of the cavern, its nest made of dry straw in the center something glistened. └ Tags-- ( Melidas ) └ notes: Aww poor Eri just wanted a bite I stilll wait for the day someone will save us

BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK She shuddered as soon as she asked that question. Al was quietly hoping for a response, but readied herself if it was too much to ask too soon. She readied up, even if she had to weapon and an ability she couldn't even use properly. She answered her question though, only partly, but Al couldn't ask for more. Her name is Rauel, at least that's what Al thinks she meant when she said that. At least she knows what to call her now, and not just "miss" or saying "excuse me" every time. Rauel started to walk. Al was pre-occupied, thinking to herself. She almost fell behind because she had forgotten the sword on the floor, and she had to run back to pick up the parts. Hopefully she can use the pieces, as it would be a pain to lug these around, and an even greater pain if they ended up being useless altogether. She led Al to the place where her possession was taken. They weaved though the caverns. Rauel was guiding her like she's been though the caverns a million times. She was so used to this place, that it seemed as though the lights in the caverns followed her, almost as if they were guiding her, lighting the way. They arrived at a clearing, and the sky was exposed. For a place the was so hostile in the beginning, this clearing showed its other side. With the water crashing on the coastal crag, to the starry, clear night sky, it was a calming, peaceful atmosphere. A place where meditation can be done. It was a nice change from compared to what happened earlier. Rauel showed Al the entrance she wanted her to go inside to retrieve what she needed back. She pointed into the cave, mentioning an "interesting creature" that took her necklace away. Al was a little confused as to how she'll be doing this without a weapon, but she suspects that as long as she's quiet and stays away from the water, she'd be fine to sneak it out of there. She crept in. Moving slowly, hugging the wall, and skipping the little puddles that were in her way. So far so good. She can hear the beast inside, snoring the night away. She couldn't see it just yet. She was almost halfway, until she took a wrong step. She stepped onto a stone that was a little more slippery than she thought. It woke up the beast, and it stood up. He was visible to Al now. He was smaller than Al had thought. He looks like a very young dragon, one who is just learning and is quite mischievous. Al had never seen a dragon before, but this isn't what she had expected. Al tried to make this quick and sly. She sped up, not worried about the dragon, since it's quite small. She wanted to swoop by, grabbing the necklace, and quickly run outside, running back towards Rauel, who was just outside. She neared the necklace as the small dragon let out a cute, but somewhat loud roar. She turned around, running back outside of the small cave. A louder roar was then heard, and the flapping of large wings were also audible. "Hopefully Rauel knows how to deal with this." Al thought. She didn't see what was coming, although she had the slightest idea. Al didn't want to turn. She looked at Rauel, seeing if she had a plan of action.

[attr="class","pop"] S he hadn't expected it, she hadn't thought that young girl would actually choose to risk danger without knowing what exactly she would face. She had questions she wanted answered, she wanted guidance and it seemed she wanted it so badly she didn't mind what kind of danger she put herself in as long as by the end of it she got what she desired. Rauel crossed her arms and watched as she disappeared into the cavern. That moment of solitude dragged on, she found herself fighting herself. Instinct told her to go save her but she also needed it back, she needed that necklace.. or well the ring that hung on its chain. She needed it to be able to remind herself that what she really needed was to protect Eyal. Loneliness and solitude was driving her insane, she found herself focusing more on the fact the loneliness never ending that she had found little on how she could save her oldest friend. She couldn't believe that Laleli was truly dead, even if she couldn't find her there was now way that bright light of hers could be snuffed out. Her thoughts broke when she noticed the girl running towards her, her face in panic yet when she finally reached Rauel all she did was look in her hand as she clasped onto the chain with her ring dangling from it. She took a few steps forward in front of the young girl and just smiled probably for the first time in a long while. A mist like smoke flowed towards her hands purple in colour glistening like starlight in the sky. She saw a large dragons head peer out only to retreat when she sensed her power. She could have gotten it sooner but a fight with her would have lead to its death and a dragon child left alone with no protection. There was no sense of urgency, she had waited years to find someone that would come to her unafraid of the world around her with the courage to bring back what she wanted even without a weapon available to her. She turned to face her with a smirk on her face, she covered her mouth as a yawn escaped. "Let's head back, you can stay with us for a short time then you will need to leave."
Without another word she headed through the caverns once again leading her way through every crevice dodging every rock or pothole that they might find, the starlight swirling around her hands lighting their way. The deeper they went to her solitude the more lights would following putting the rest of the cavern in darkness. "I'm taking you to my.." She thought of the word she could used, there wasn't a correct word for it.. Wasn't her home and it wasn't a prison either.. But she lived there. "home." Rauel stopped noticing the shadou wolf from earlier had taken residence in front of the gate, not letting any intruder pass.. At least she did her job for once. She opened her eyes slowly narrowing them when she noticed the girl was still with Rauel she couldn't help but feel confused. └ Tags-- ( Melidas ) └ notes: ooo will she meet Eyal ohoho I stilll wait for the day someone will save us

BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK She knew that what she was did was on the border between bravery and stupidity. She went into a cave of unknown danger without a weapon, and without any knowledge of what's inside. She just ran in. Her goals were too meaningful to her. She wanted to know how to use her power. She wanted to know how to harness her element, so that she can put an end to her sister's plan, whatever they may be. Of course, nothing ever goes to plan for her. The mother dragon came out, seeing what had startled her little one. If Al was alone, she wouldn't have been able to deal with her so fluidly. She had no element to use, no weapon being wielded. She'd just be a sitting duck in front of a very large dragon. Luckily, she wasn't alone. Rauel was there, and all she needed to do was show the power of the stars that she had in her, and the dragon turned away. The baby dragon stayed there for a bit, just staring at Al. It was like some sort of connection was being made between them. Or maybe it was just angry that Al took what the dragon kept on its person from it. Al gave the necklace back to her. It was quite intriguing, seeing her so fixated on a necklace; it really wasn't that either, it was a ring with a chain ran through it. How is a person of such strength and power like Rauel get so fixated to something so.. materialistic? There's something she is keeping from it, a part of her that she does not want me to know.
Rauel guided Al back through the caverns. Like before, it lit up as Rauel walked through it, like the caverns themselves were lighting her way. Like she belonged here. It was mesmerizing, but Al had to keep up. They entered a gate, into a place that Rauel called her "home". Fear stuck Al. She was surprised. Why am I fearing this, but I wasn't fearing the unknown caverns from earlier? What am I feeling that's making me stop here? She stopped, dead in her tracks. The shadou from earlier turned from her guard post, and faced Al. She didn't know what someone like her was doing here, let alone with Rauel. A faint whisper was audible. Al couldn't quite pick it up, but it seemed like only her heard it. She shrugged it off. She was frozen in fear. For some reason, something in there is immobilizing her. For a place that Rauel called her "home", it gave her a sense of fear and trepidation. She felt so distressed here, her mind is just swirling. Something made her feel off. But whatever it took to learn from Rauel, she knew she had to push through. She needed to push. She struggled to take another step, but Rauel is leaving her behind. She had to start walking again. She took the step, but the feeling of consternation kept engulfing her. She kept on taking steps, but that feeling never left. She needs to push.

[attr="class","pop"] O nce they entered everything was lit differently, flamed torches rested against the mountain wall. The floors had red runners running along the whole corridor. Apart from the flames everything was in darkness, the deeper she walked with Al behind her the more people became visible. They pushed against the walls leaving space for the two of them to walk, they bowed their heads in respect to Rauel not looking up until she was gone. She headed through the corridors so comfortably, she could close her eyes and know exactly how many steps to take to get to her room without walking into a wall. She finally turned to face the girl that walked behind her. She continued walking, talking softly but loud enough for her to hear. "You are free to look around" she stopped and pointed down a corridor in pitch black darkness. "Don't go down there. That is off limits for anyone outside of his inner council unless you want to be killed i suggest not going there."It wasn't a threat it was advise, many of the guardians here tried to comfort the ruler under the mountain but his solitude and isolation had made him unstable. It broke her heart to see her oldest friend in pieces, he didn't even resemble the man he used to be in the slightest. His gentle soul was no longer and his eyes were no longer soft, they looked harsh and tired. She sighed breaking free of her thoughts and continued down the hall way until she pushed a door open to a bedroom. "You can stay here and rest for today, I'll take you to our blacksmith tomorrow to make you something more fitting for powers like ours." She waited for the girl to get comfortable, taking a seat near a round table in the room. "I'll be a few doors down if you need something. Don't worry we aren't as evil as the world makes us to believe." She had to wonder.. Did this girl know exactly where she had walked into. └ Tags-- ( Melidas ) └ notes: Poor Al.. BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK Ra helped Al enter the premises. She knows this is for the better. She needs to get stronger and learn from Ra, absorb as much as she can about their rare power. The land felt dark, and an isolating feeling engulfed Al. A feeling like when you're apart from someone you love for so long, a feeling of sorrow. People lived here. Al did not expect that, she thought Rauel would be one of the few, if not, the only person her, but apparently that wasn't the case. What a strange a frightening place to call home, Al thought to herself. People wouldn't want to live here. There must be an underlying reason as to why all of these people, including Rauel, is staying here. She keeps on mentioning a man. " his inner circle", Rauel said earlier. Who is this man? Is this the reason why so many people are here? Because of that man? Who is this? Rauel brought Al into a room for her to stay in for now. Even if the door has a substantial locking mechanism, for some reason Al does not feel 100% safe, like someone is watching her every move. She remembers that one shadou that Al encountered initially. Maybe she's following her, by Rauel's command, but that thought quickly passed. As Rauel leaves, Al quickly stands up, and searches the room. Under the table, under the bed, Al looks everywhere. The room is very dimly lighted, so Al couldn't see anything during her search, so that entire effort was for naught. She feels uneasy, just like how she felt when they initially entered the compound. Especially now, considering she's still unarmed, and has to wait for tomorrow to have a weapon crafted by this place's blacksmith. She wishes Rauel would be here, because she's the only friendly face that Al knows around here. Al just has to wait until tomorrow for something to happen, so she tries to get comfortable, removing her chestplate and the majority of her armor. She still feels uneasy, being in a hostile-feeling place with no weapon or armor. She lies down to try to get some rest, thinking to herself, is this what's required of me to learn about the strength that I was given? Is this what I needed to get myself into? She tries to sleep, but she can't. She remains laying down, but ready for action if it calls for it.

[attr="class","pop"] I t was strange to have a guest, she wasn't the kind to allow people entry to this place so easily and yet for some reason she had decided that the girl possessed something that made her trustworthy. She found herself fighting against her natural instincts to protect Eyal from everyone that came too close and then here she was. She brought a stranger into their stronghold, the final place Eyal could be safe. His prison that kept him enclosed in a mountain. How long had it been for him, how long had it been since he could see the sky or feel a soft breeze against his cheeks. The air was hot, it moved around the caverns only gaining more heat bu the time it touched someone it hurt to breathe. The had all gotten so used to the pain so used to the atmosphere of the place. Time passed and before she knew it she had left the girl alone for the entire night. She would be fine, no one would harm her they would fear the consequences of their actions. Down here they followed orders if not Eyal's than her own, they commanded and the rest listened it was the only way to keep each other alive. She had wanted to check on Eyal, but if he wanted to be alone no one could break him out of it. The doors of his room remained shut no one could force him out not if they wanted to deal with his erratic behaviour his sudden loss of understand. She forced herself to move to make sure she left him alone even if ever fragment of her being told her to check on her friend. He was hurting, and when Eyal hurt that meant danger to anyone around him. He locked himself away for their own safety.. She couldn't help but wonder when she would see him. She sighed and headed towards the bedroom she had left the girl, Erish following behind her humming a random tune while they headed towards Al. └ Tags-- ( Melidas ) └ notes: Aww poor Eri just wanted a bite I stilll wait for the day someone will save us

BUT NOW I'M INSECURE AND I CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK Sleeping was something that wasn't going to happen tonight. Al laid down for a couple hours, but those hours were for naught, as they were some of the most restless hours of her life. She got up and started to pace. She doesn't know this place at all, and doesn't know why Rauel brought her here in the first place. What she does know is that there's quite an important man who lived inside this compound, someone with a heavy following, and enough of an influence to gain someone with so much power such as Rauel. The feeling that this place gave out was a dark and somber one. A feeling of being trapped, or maybe a feeling of being alone. Its thoughts that Al had before, when she was still in Lysithia. Trapped in a city, while her sister gained power, gained allies, and more and more influence around the area. She was the only thing standing between Alyia and her parents, but with no strength, no real way to fight back. Until now, now is her chance to learn from someone who knows what their doing with their power. Before she even knew it, time passed so quickly. It feels like its morning now, but of course, she can't confirm that. She's deep inside a mountain. She hadn't had a lick of sleep all night. She's a little bit drowsy, but at the same time its better to be safe than sorry. Suddenly, she heard a knock on her door. It must be Rauel, right? Who else would want to see me, or would want to come into this room? Very hesitantly, ready to attack at any time, Al opened the door. Rauel was standing there. Al let out a sigh of relief.
