Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ Those heretics were driving her insane. Leyann had to have some time to herself, some time for her to explore, so she snuck out when she could and flew as far as she can. "It'll only be a matter of time before they scatter and look for me again"., she said to herself. It's been years since the raid. Her clan, even if it was minuscule, was her family. Everyone, even her parents, were gone, but she still wanted to go back, wanted to see what was left even though she knew that nothing would be there. There was no remains now, as natural decay took over what was left over of the camp, the parts that was left after they burned everything else to the ground. She's still far from the actual ruins of the camp, but the surrounding area of where in Palaelol Cor she was in was very reminiscent. The fields and the flowers of where she used to run and gambol merrily while she was young, the breeze breezing through her sun-kissed hair. It was a joyful, peaceful time back then, a time where she would go back to, but a time that was a very long time ago. After reminiscing, Leyann's thoughts quickly switched to the night of the raid. She was asleep, until she heard screams from the folk who lived outside the walls. Something wasn't right. She quickly got up and ran outside, her wings still hidden. She knew if it was any kind of trouble, she'd be the only one who would be able to fight, as no one else was trained. With the clan so small, there was no need for a militia, so learning swordfighting and how to defend oneself was one of the lowest priorities. As soon as she stepped outside of her hut, she could see smoke rising from outside the walls. It was far too big to be from just torches. The worst thoughts ran through her mind. They were being looted and razed out there, and the women were being raped as she can hear the screams of all of them. She knew she couldn't do anything until they breached the walls. And breach the walls they did. Hundreds of armed men ran in, killing the men and children and taking the "nicer" looking women for their own pleasure. Then one of them saw her. She was radiant and beautiful, so those thoughts that men have that every women hate were obviously passing through their mind. What a fine speciment she is. Men, try not to cut her, as I'll penetrate her myself!", she heard a man say, presumably the leader of the raiders. That ticked her off, so out her wings come. She harnessed her powers she gathered through the day, flashing them with the bright light that comes from her wings, blinding them. And down she goes, cutting as many men her wings are able to, but there were so many. She knew she couldn't stop them, so she turned and looked to her parent's hut. They were on the floor, with their heads rolling down the small hill she used to run down as a child. They were gone. She had to leave, there was no one she could save, she can only save herself. The thought were running through her mind, as emotions were filling her body, and tears filling her eyes. She couldn't move anymore, she was overcome with emotion. She had to stop, she had to kneel in the middle of the field, paralyzed from past thoughts. It was too much. Through the emptiness of the fields, you can hear her cry. Anyone passing through the area could here her cry. She didn't want to be heard, but she couldn't stop it. 650 words - I feel so bad for Lei :c - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ Another day, another month.. another year. Another job. Everything about her life consisted of travelling back and forth from different destinations to make an individual happy. Someone she owed her life to, literally. She travelled through Azelania hunting for whatever peaked his interest in that moment, she fought with people she would otherwise avoid and got into trouble that almost felt as if it would be the end of her. Was she allowed to even reach the end? Cheated. She had cheated death, she remembered the smell of flowers she remembered the feel of the earth around her as she slept in her nest with her family. She remembered the sword that cut her head off from her shoulders she remembered her life ending. That should have been it but her pretty pelt was too precious, it landed in her masters hands and he did the only thing he could. He forced her back into this world, pouring his powers into the pelt giving her a new form. One that existed for his needs, his desire for knowledge and power. It brought her to this place, hidden in her small black fox form she walked through the high grass, through bushes sniffing the air searching for any clue to what she was looking for. 'You will know when you see it.' What brilliant piece of information and guidance, he was always so aloof so free with the things he decided to explain or not in this case. Her fluffy black ears perked up listening to someone near by, she stalked closer hiding in the little shadows she could find until she found a young girl on her knees crying her salty tears travelling to her sensitive nose making her ears lay back on her head. She walked slowly towards her, her body only made smaller to seem less threatening. She peered up at her from underneath her deep blue eyes staring up at her. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ On her knees, crying, with her hands on her face. Too many memories were here. From her growing up and learning and playing with her friends and parents, to the actual night of the raid. So much has happened here, it's bittersweet for her. Just a cumulative mess of emotion. She was just crying and crying, until she felt something on her knee. There was a little black fox in front of her, staring into her eyes. There was a moment of nothing, just her and the fox looking at each other, while tears kept on flowing down her face. It was a serene moment, a moment of peace. Hello cutie. Thank you.", she said to the fox, her voice still recovering from crying. The fox was there, almost like the fox knew that something was wrong, and that something was bothering Lei. Like the fox was there trying to comfort her, with her paw on her knee, almost like a friend trying to comfort someone dear to them. Leyann stood up, trying to recover from what had just happened, from that wave of emotion that took her. Brushing off the debris from her legs and from her dress. She had to start moving, or else those demons calling her their "saviour" will find her again, and she will be trapped once more, forced away from freedom. The fox was still sitting in front of her, looking deep into Lei's eyes. Lei knelt down. "Thank you again, but run along now, go be with your pack.". She gave it a soft pat on the top of its head as a way of thanking it for being with her. She stood up, but then she realized that those black foxes are actually quite rare in Az. She didn't think too much of it, so she released her wings, preparing to fly away to avoid capture once again. 341 words - I feel so bad for Lei :c - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ Nemesis couldn't help but be confused by the girl, she touched her so casually and dismissed her rather easily. She couldn't help but be curious why had she been on her knees crying in this place. There was so many questions that she wanted to ask, made so easy if only she decided to shift but that wasn't something she would do. The way the girl pushed herself up from the ground, the way she put one foot in front of the other as if she was apart from everything. Something pushing her to leave this place, something making her desire to move greater. She tilted her head to the side watching her walk her stride seemed heavy her shoulders heavy. What kind of unknown weight was she holding.. Nemesis understood, she hadn't been able to bring herself back to her home she couldn't bare to see what had happened to the place she had been raised before her capture and death. She shook her little head and bounced forward following the young girl quietly behind her watching her as she cautiously continued where ever her journey was taking her. Nemesis bounced behind following her quietly letting her body meld with the environment so she made little noise so she wouldn't startle her but at the same time she never tried to hide herself. There was no reason to, she would follow her for a while as she the 'mission' she was given gave no location nor any time limit just to travel until she found something of interest. Her ears twitched turning at every sound around them, a little bark escaped her muzzle wanting the girl to stop running ahead something felt off about the forest.. Too quiet... As if every animal had left... That only happened when there was danger.. She ran closer to the girl walking beside her looking at her surroundings for any signal at what was coming. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ She walked away from the fox, not thinking about for more than a second. Even though its quite rare to see a black fox, nevermind the fact that it ran up to her and sat in front of her, too much is flowing through her mind. A mix of sad emotions being back where the tribe once stood, and a mix of happy emotions, being free from the hysteria that is the heretics who worship her, if only for a while. She needed to see this place, but at the same time she needed to leave. It was a place near and dear to her heart, but at the same time it was a place of pain and anguish. A place she had to keep and remember, and a place to leave and forget. She was so so torn, but she still had to come see it. Something distracted her from her own thoughts. That something was nothing. That something was no noise whatsoever. The environment was deathly quiet, something that didn't happen often. "Leave when it gets quiet!". She remembers the warnings that her mom once gave to the hunters who hunted game for food for the tribe. Something isn't quite right. Immediately, the thought that crossed her mind was the heretics had found her. The heretics were able to track her down and are coming to recapture her. She readied up. She wasn't ready for that to happen again. She wanted to be free, and to remain free. Someone who has their own free will. She heard a little yelp, and then the black fox emerging from the shadows, running up to her. "Go to your pack, little one. It might be too dangerous for a rare little fox like you". She didn't want the fox to be hurt or injured, or even hunted for her pelt. Not by these people, as she knows what they are capable of. Thoughts of what they had done to her filled her mind. Thoughts she couldn't get rid of, but thoughts she didn't need anymore. But now is the time to not think of those thoughts. The fox didn't budge, it just stayed there. "Be careful, little one.". She gave up, the fox wouldn't run, like she knows what's coming, like she wants to help her. The noise of people marching with pitchforks and torches came to be. It was them, and they were here. 429 words - I feel so bad for Lei :c - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ It was nice the feeling of being cared for by another something she had forgotten.. Her pack had loved her but after their death she had no longer any connection with people, she did as commanded of her out of ownership she couldn't deny his requests no matter how much she might dislike his demands. That's what it meant to get a second life from another, you became bound to them unable to deny direct commands. She could be sly, she could move around the command but she could never fully deny what he wanted. It wasn't friendship nor family it was a relationship between master and servant. This time it was different she cared for her without knowing what she was. She was able to spend time with her only because Ragna was so far from that place, he hadn't given her a direct order just to find something of interest something unique. It didn't matter how long she would take as long as she let him believe she was searching. Her thoughts broke when she felt the girl become more agitated her heart was racing she could hear it pounding against her chest. Her eyes narrowed focusing into the distance able to see people heading towards them, torches in their hand to light their way through the forest as the tried to find someone. A growl rose to her muzzle, the fur around her back stood up she knew for some reason whatever was coming towards them was not good. Darkness moved closer to her seeping into her pelt as she seemed to absorb its strength making her rise in size, the dark pelt slowly fading to white leaving only the tips of her fox tails black and the markings around her face. She growled louder as the people approached their focus on the girl beside her. Nemesis looked up at her nudging her hand, trying to let her know it would be okay. She didn't know why she felt a sudden drive to protect the stranger but she felt the need to protect her to find her a place she would be safe before she continued. She could do that.. She could leave her once she found exactly where she was heading. Her turned once more her tails flowing behind her swishing making darkness dance around them as the people approached only to stop dead when they noticed the kitsune beside the girl that had their focus. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ All her life, she's felt like she was being followed, being chased. From the night of the raid to the night she was captured for being what she is, she's never felt truly free. Being able to escape her captors is the only feeling of freedom she's felt in millennia. The sound of the heretics marching filled her mind of what they'll do when they recapture her and bring her back. Just like what the raiders said that night, she'd be used again and again by the males hoping to find their "guiding light". Flashbacks of her life at their camp filled her mind. It was a week into her capture. She's being kept in a tent, with a large cage inside to keep her captive, with a bed and handcuffs attached to the headboards. A scene that most women would absolutely hate. She's included. She was captured because she's the embodiment of the sun, the main object that lights the world. The heretics that captured her used her as a metaphor for that, their "guiding light", or "light through the darkness". They didn't treat her like she was their light. They treated her like some sort of object. Someone they can abuse, molest, and violate, hoping to get something out of her. Literally. The people in the cult thought she'd produce their savior, a baby that is meant to guide them to the promise land, whatever that may be. Each male had one shot every month in being the father of the prodigy child. So every now and then, men would go in there to shoot their shot. The guards would take her out of the cage by force, and stripping her down completely, handcuffing her to the bed, and cuffing her feet down so she couldn't struggle when the men were entering. It was something she luckily avoided during the raid, but it was something she couldn't escape this time. She was beautiful, and it always crosses their mind as they were just using her as the whore of the camp. Someone to keep the men happy, and efficient in their work. She snapped out of it. She didn't want to go back to that life. She wanted to be free. She didn't want to be used again. She would have no remorse as to what would happen to the heretics in this scene. She won't feel any regret this time. She felt a little nudge on her hand as she was preparing to fight. The little black fox was black no longer. It grew larger and larger, the black turned into a crisp white, and more and more tails appeared at the back of it. It was not any ordinary fox. What is it doing here, and what is it doing with me? Questions about the fox arose, but it wasn't time for those to be answered. It was now a fight for her life. The heretics didn't move. They looked at her, then the fox, then back at her. It seemed like they were scared. Good. Because Leyann wasn't. She unleashed her wings, and flew directly upward, and a large bright flash of light emanated from them, blinding the mob of the people who had used her for far too long. Leyann had enough. It was time to end this. She began her dive, the same dive that she used during the raid. And this time, with an intention to kill. It was time to end them. 600 words - Freeeeedooom - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ Nemesis wasn't one for needless fighting, it was easy to drown her enemies into darkness until they gave in and gave her what she needed . But this time it wasn't about her, their focus wasn't on her. She watched as the girl moved to the sky, the way her wings lifted her the eyes of those in front not watching her in dear but adoration. As if they were looking into the eyes of a god, it was hard to keep her instincts in check. She still analysed her movements, wanting to see her strength wanting to find out if she had found something of interest and value.. Naiema.. A creature with no freedom. Though she ran free without chains her chains were ones that couldn't be seen. She couldn't deny Ragna, she had to return to him eventually with something of interest and she tried to figure out alternatives but she found her interest stuck on the blond flying. The crowd split, half focused on calming the girl wanting her to return to some place and the other turned to focus on her. Of course. A demonic creature was close to the girl, they would think her a danger. They stepped closer and Nemesis just sighed out of annoyance, swishing one of her tails in front to make them stop. Darkness dancing around her paws inching closer to them as they fell into a dark void, illusions attacking their mind keeping them away from her without Nemesis needing to move. Innocence.. She allowed herself to watch the girl with the other group. She had to watch and determine her worth, hoping that she ended up normal something not remarkable.. Something which wouldn't interest Ragna. But she knew she would.. Let her drain her energy.. Make her easier to bring back.. Just watch.. That was the plan, but she felt guilt. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ Leyann is blinded by bloodthirst, which is superbly rare for rakuh of any kind. She was tired of suffering, being used for her body nearly all her life. She was finished with it, and it's now on her hands to be able to make it stop. All of her recent problems are in front of her, with nothing in the way to stop her. Thoughts of the bloodshed that was about to be had filled her mind, although no regrets are flowing through her. These men will be lost from their families, but Leyann doesn't care, as they didn't stop it either. She was molested, knowing that these men had wives to come home to as well. They were part of the problem, they need to suffer. The fox had a group of heretics running towards it as well, which just makes matters easier for Ley. The fox's well-being doesn't cross her mind either, she just wants to secure her freedom, no matter the costs. Blood spatters all over her wings, all over the trees and the grass on the clearing. Her wings cutting through human flesh. A feeling she has not felt since the raid. A bittersweet feeling. A reminder of her suffering from the past, but a slight glimpse into a freedom that's coming. She kept on diving towards the heretics, as often as she can, causing as much damage as she can. Sometimes, even forgetting there was a kitsune by her side, getting rid of half her problems. She sees freedom inching closer and closer and the crowd dwindles away. The remaining heretics begin to scatter, seeing the monster in Leyann. These men were inside her at one time, but now they were unable to even touch her. Leyann sees one man struggling on his knees. She remembers him. The last man to finish in her, the man who violated her before she was able to escape. The last man who made her suffer. She was going to make him suffer too. "Please! No! I beg of you, grace, please!". His pleas fall on deaf ears. 368 words - Friggin' wild yo. - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ It would have been easy to end them, easy to fight them and end their lives easily at the flick of a tail. But killing, being noticed..It wasn't what was meant to happen not here.. She wasn't meant to draw attention she was meant to study everyone and if she found anything unique anything of interest to Ragna she was meant to bring them to him.. She had found it.. She sat in a short distance from the girl with the sunset wings, she watched as she took care of the heretics as if they were nothing. Her eyes burned, she wanted freedom. She knew that feeling too clearly it was obvious to her that she just wanted to be free away from whatever was caging her and keeping her in this place. She watched as they scattered fleeing from the girl but also from her as the darkness still seemed to dance around her, mist moving around her body brushing against her fur like wind. Once all the heretics had either left or been dealt with Nemesis looked around at the carnage, she mewed towards the girl trying to break her focus on what had happened trying to make her change her thoughts. Her tails wagged behind her, befriend. She mewed once more trying to get her to focus on her trying to act pure and innocent something that wasn't a threat to her something that could be a friend in her lonely place. This wasn't a place they should stay especially after everything that had happened.. She took a few steps closer mewing once more before standing on her back paws resting her front on her leg trying to get her attention. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ Even compared to the raid, this is the most death she has ever seen all in one place, but this time she didn't stand back during it. She was the cause. She was the reason that so much death happened in front of her. She wanted freedom from the cage she had built over her. Now with the heretics gone, and the surviving ones scattered, perhaps she has finally earned it. She looked on as the last of the heretics were scattering away. "She's a monster, run!", she heard a man scream. "Run while your heads are still attached!", another man said. They feared her. Years after keeping her in a cage, nearly nude, and being violated as often as they did, they finally had the chance to see the animal hiding in the cage. She was finally unleashed. Leyann stood in the middle of the clearing, catching her breath, standing still, but all in all, calm. She has blood-stained wings and some splatters on her face. She never knew she had this in her, but here she is, covered in blood, with other men's blood on her hands. "I did it. I'm free.", she said. Realizing the gravity of the situation, she became overcome with emotion. Still standing straight, nothing on her face changed other than the fact that tears were streaming down her face. "I'm finally free.".She heard a couple of mews, asking herself what that noise was, but eventually she came to remember that a little black fox was there, helping her and stood by her. The fox, standing on her hind legs trying to get her attention. She bent down and patted her head. She knew this fox isn't any other fox. She was a special one, one with abilities and magical powers. "Thank you, little one.". Ley exclaimed. With the fox's help, she was able to cut down the men who trapped her for all of these years. "Would be nice to know who or what you really are, but for now, we should leave this place.". She realized that staying in the midst of this carnage wouldn't be good for either of them. They had to leave. They started running together, with the destination being the farthest back on their minds. But now, Leyann had nothing to run from, nothing to fear. 410 words - Ley be happy~. - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ Nemesis ran beside the woman jumping forward between strides to move faster as she pushed herself ahead. There was something about running at full speed that just cleared and freed Nemesis’s mind from all the thoughts that told her she needed to get back on mission. She had no freedom and yet while running like this she truly felt free as if there was no one waiting for her and she could just be one with the wind. They ran for what seemed like enternity of freedom but even then it was too short, because as the young lady slowed her pace to a stop as they reached near the end of the forest. Nemesis sniffed the air smelling the foul human smell. She let out a bark like sound annoyed by the smell, she sat down and sniffed the air her large ears twitching and rotating to each sound. They were near a human village, from what she smelt they had arrived in the midsts of some kind of festival. She looked at the young girl, her wings still stained red from the massacre her clothing tainted just the same. Going near the village in her current state would attract too much attention. Nemesis pulled the girl’s skirt so she would turn and follow her. Nemesis ran ahead and turned to see if she followed when she was confident she would follow Nemesis led her to a nearby forest a place she knew would have some kind of lake to be able to clean herself off. They ran at full speed, Nemesis occasionally stopping to hear if there was anyone pursuing them. Why did she even care, logically she should just bring her to Ragna and yet she found herself trying to help a girl that was being hunted, a girl that was finally tasting freedom. They were too similar.. She hated it.. They stopped once more when they reached a forest near the village but far enough that they wouldn’t be heard. She led her through the thick foliage, jumping over trees that had fallen over at some point from high winds. Eventually they reached a small clearing a lake with clean water for her to bathe. Nemesis mewed at the girl showing her the water before rushing off away into the darkness leaving the girl to bathe alone. When she was far enough, when she was sure she wouldn’t see Nemesis shifted into her human form and entered the village making her magic coat her in darkness so she wouldn’t be seen. She made her way through the village grabbing some clothing from a washing line before disappearing once more. She was about to leave the village when she heard the sound of coins, a man drinking with his friends a pouch of coins hung loosely on his belt. Easy. She allowed the darkness to extend a shadowed hand reached the pouch disappearing into the ground and reappearing beside Nemesis on the wall of the building beside her. She took the coin a smirk in her face and shifting into her fox form. With the coin pouch in her mouth, a pale dress and a long brown cape with fur trimming. She made her way to the clearing dropping the stuff further back so she wouldn’t seem too strong not wanting questions to surface. The first mew, Nemesis came bounding to the lake with the sound of coin. She dropped it and disappeared doing the same thing with each item. Dress, cape and boots. She even returned to the village to find some sort of weapon to hide. The last item she returned with a small dagger that she could hide in her boot or underneath her cape. She sat down and wagged her tail happily waiting for her to dress so they could continue travelling. In the back of her mind Ragna’s voice still sounded, he wanted something interesting. He hadn’t specified she just needed to find something equally interesting to hand over to him. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ Leyann took her time in the lake. It was the first real sense of freedom, real sense of doing what she wants, when she wants to. She found a shallow part of the lake, shallow enough so that she can sit, but deep enough that everything but her head is submerged. She sat there for a while, contemplating what she has done, the repercussions of it, and what to do now. She then remembered the little black fox that helped her. What was it? She knew is wasn't like any other fox. It was magical, but she doesn't know to what extent. She opened her eyes, and looked around. She didn't see the fox. Maybe she just went to get some food. Leyann submerged her head, washing the blood stains away from her golden-blonde hair. While submerged, she heard pitter-patter on the surface. She quickly came out and saw the little fox bringing her clothing, money, and a weapon. She was astonished this black fox was able to do all of this. She came out of the lake, drying herself with the clean parts of her old clothes, and she quickly put on the clothes that her new furry friend got for her. "How did you get all of this?", she asked the fox. Of course, like how she thought, no response, just a little mew. The question now is what to do now, She's escaped, has a new friend, dressed and bathed. It's a metaphor for how she is feeling spiritually. She knows they have to keep on going, but to where? It's like she doesn't have a purpose. She heard a mew from the fox, like shes showing a way. "What do you see, little one?", she asked. She looked beyond the treeline. It resembles the look of the heretics that she had just fought and slaughtered. It's probably another group of the same heretics, but unbeknownst to them, the other group has been destroyed. "We can't head that way, there's too high of a chance for me to be recognized", she said to the fox. "We must go the opposite direction". The other direction, Leyann was not very familiar with it, so she is hoping that the fox is more used to the area than she is. They ran for a a couple minutes, enough to get away from earshot or eyeshot of the group, and stopped again. Leyann saw some edible berries that she had used to pick and eat when she was younger. They both needed food, so she scavenged them and gave a portion to the little fox. She took this opportunity to ask her a question. "I know you aren't only a fox, little one. What are you, really?".477 words - Ley be happy~. - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK

i never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. ❝ The girl had so many questions, questions Nemesis couldn’t answer without betraying her master. It was strange the desire to please her master, she had no love it just felt like an overwhelming need to do what someone had asked of her. She couldn’t deny his commands but she had gotten good at twisting his words when he asked her of things that went against her morals. This being one case. For sure she had found something rare and unique something that would interest him but from what she knew of the young girl she wouldn’t do well there. She would have traded one cage for another. She shook her head and just followed the young girl as she led them the opposite direction of where Nemesis had originally wanted to go. But nothing seemed to phase her she knew her way around Azelania. She ran behind the young girl and when they finally stopped running she just watched over the girl as she gathered some berries. Nemesis merely watched yawning as she grew tired of her long trip from Ragna to her current location with little to no sleep. There it was. A question she couldn’t answer without revealing herself any trust would be lost and the girl would rush off into hiding fearing not only the people pursuing her but also Nemesis herself. She tilted her head and listened as she spoke, she shook her head side to side in answer to her question before moving closer to Leyann. She stood on her hind paws while pushing her front on Leyann’s leg mewing up at her before heading to the bush with berries and eating a few hoping the girl would just eat and not ask too many questions. Not here, not now… They needed to get her to safety before she would reveal any real secrets. Her ears twitched at nearby noises but when she realised it was merely animals running around her tails wagged behind her. Another mew and then she waited for Leyann to follow her through the forest thick in foliage. She tried to make it easy for the girl knowing she was getting tired, they walked until she noticed Leyann’s breathing tiring Nemesis looked for somewhere they could rest until she found a small cavern on the side of a mountain. Sleep. The young girl needed sleep. The fox mewed showing her she could sleep if needed that she would look after her and she could rest. Once Leyann had finally fallen asleep Nemesis left a bit further just wanting to shift. She changed to her human form, sitting on a rock as she listened to the animals of the night rustling around. Through the darkness and the light, some sun has got to rise ~ Leyann was lead by the little black fox. It seems like it's ignoring me, or maybe I'm just being delusional, she thought to herself. She decided she would drop the question for now, as there appears to be something that startled the fox, enough to begin running again. Leyann couldn't sense something, so it must be something the fox senses. It seemed like the fox was looking after her, because as soon as heavy pants escaped Leyann's body, the fox started to slow down, looking around for a place to settle for the night. She needed to rest, as its been nothing but running and hiding, with some short breaks in between. It's been a while since either of them had a good night's rest. The fox showed her an entrance to a cave, almost like she's inviting Leyann to sleep there. With no hesitation, Leyann found a little corner, and dozed off to sleep. It didn't take long, as her exhaustion took a hold of her almost right away. She didn't know what was happening though. Her mind was so cloudy, especially after the running and the fighting that had happened today. It almost felt like it was a lucid dream, but she had no control over it. Soon after she fell asleep, it felt like she just woke up almost immediately. She walked out of the cave, looking for the little fox. But she couldn't see her. She looked around the entrance, even ran back inside to see if the fox joined her to get a bit of sleep, no trace at all. What she saw were footprints. Human footprints, and there were not hers. She followed them up to a little clearing, with a rock pedestal in the middle with moonlight being shone directly onto it. There sat a girl. She couldn't see very well, as she was still very drowsy, but it was definitely a girl, looking up towards the moon, basking in the light. Leyann was confused, even more so than she was originally. She doesn't know what had happened, nor where this girl came from. She was so drowsy, that she didn't even know if what she was seeing is real. She decided to walk up to the girl, seeing if someone would answer her questions. "Who are you, where did you come from?", Leyann asked. She heard something being said back to her, but she couldn't quite make it out. She was so exhausted, that saying those words was enough exertion to cause her to pass out. Little did she know, everything she saw was as real as it gets. 458 words - Ley be tired. - ICE'LIAREA | MADE BY ★MEULK
